Got this as a fix. My Toshiba laptop is down and out, but as an online student, I can not be without. Got this only with school in mind, no videos/music/pictures/gaming in mind. Only purpose was to have something I can do schoolwork on and also my kids so our Toshiba (once fixed) can be for my use. Bought on Tuesday, worked fine. Internet speed not great but not horrible. Wednesday night, internet speed slowed down tremendously, would not accept the Microsoft Office that is already installed, nor would it pull any other pre-installed program. This morning, would not pull anything up online. Rebooted, waited over 30 minutes with the welcome screen, and still waiting. Will be returning tomorrow. Do not waste your time or money!

I purchased this laptop while it's on sale. The price is so attractive, and the laptop is nice look and pretty fast, but the screen quality is terrible. It's hard to read the text, and the color is not real. (blue color looks like teal, orange looks like yellow.) Too bad I'm return it even I like the size and blue color design.

Its a great little thing. I toss it in my pack and take it every where on my bicycle. Its light enough to not notice after a while.

This is a Celeron computer, very very very slow. How slow? When serving online, my 12 years old computer using a modem is faster. I also have a Mac, it takes 2 seconds to refresh a page; for this computer, it takes about 5 seconds, at least. Sometimes, it takes up to 10 seconds than crashed on you. The default browser is Microsoft Edge. Verrrrry slow. It only has 32GB internal storage but the manufacturer takes up 16GB reserved and the operating system takes another 4GB. I have only installed Microsoft Office and has only 4GB left. One thing good about this computer, cheap.

Needed a new computer and had only a set amount to spend. Best buy was my first choice. Looked at all the computers and the Dell Inspiron was just what I needed.

I use this laptop mostly as a web browser. I play Internet-based games and keep up my social media. I wouldn't recommend doing much more than that. It's definitely not a machine to carry a heavy load.

I just bought it about 2 days ago and so far it's been really good. The speakers are actually pretty loud. Bought it on sale for 110. Very satisfied.

This Dell laptop is great !! Perfect size for when I want to take it to just about anywhere and work on classwork or just browsing!!

I think the touchpad kinda doesn't wanna listen sometimes so I got a Bluetooth mouse and it works much better. It works great for surfing the web and typing up documents.

Why don't buy this laptop? 1. Super slow on the Internet. My other laptop works get with my wifii. So blame this laptop for loading super slow. 2. I didn't receive the 6 month virus protection as stated. 3. Look else where this is a waste of hundreds of dollars! Get a HP or something else. Worst laptop ever. First time trying Dell and not getting any Dell product worst experience and a waste of money. My son is so sad. I wish I can still return this.

It small and has office 365 for free,does the job of expensive laptop .i sent this to my country

On a Chromebook, you can get from turning it on to opening an internet browser tab in SECONDS. On this Windows laptop it takes 5x longer, at least. There are Chromebooks out there that also cost as much as this and I promise you'll have a much better experience with them than with this Dell laptop. Windows OS is just too messy and complicated to compete with Chrome OS.

About a month after I bought this, I had to send it back to Dell because the battery wouldn't charge. They "fixed" it but then it didn't have enough storage space to run windows. iT HAD EOUGH BEOFRE THEY FIXED IT. I sent it back again and it came back " enough to install windows but not enough to perform windows updates or install office 365. Dell told me it has limited storage space and cannot run MS office. YOU will of course note, Best Buy advertises it with Windows 365. DO NOT BUY THIS COMPUTER. For that matter, do not buy any Dell Computer. Their service is the worst I have ever experienced with any product I have ever purchased. I am doubting Best Buy will even print this rating. Today I am throwing it in a dumpster and going to Staples to see what HP has to offer!! By the way, I am typing this while on hold with Dell for the 7 day for hours at a time

I would say Dell or Microsoft should solve the performance problem. Even the web browsing is very bad. This is all because of the 32GB memory. Someone should look else this is not a good buy

I thought i would be able to do light internet work and email, but it's incredibly slow for those tasks. It loads fast but then to open not even close explorer it takes for ever. I just use my phone for my emails and anything else.
