Also, the speaker sound is not very loud: definitely not the sound quality I expected in a Dell and I haven’t been able to connect headphones to it. Otherwise a great buy.

Don't buy Asus....ever. This laptop runs so smoothly. Any Dell computer we ever bought never gave us a problem. Should've stuck with what worked for us. Beautiful screen and great camera for online web teleconferencing.

Nice Machine

The flexibility of switching between tablet and laptop is nice to have. It has a nice 4k display. The power that you get in this computer surpasses microsoft surface's for the same price range. The only negative is that it does run a little hot.

It is slim, durable, and has great screen resolution! It does have a glare. You can change your position or purchase a screen protector to mitigate the glare. I watch movies when I am traveling. The SSD HD make for a quick boot up. Battery life could be better.

Old laptop was Windows 7 so moving some of the old programs to 10 has been a real challenge. So my problems have been more with the OS than the laptop itself. Only negative so far is that the mouse pad is very sensitive, even after I have turned down the sensitivity.

Excellent performance. Web cam works well with Teams and Zoom (COVID-19-era). Like the Dell tool that keeps drivers, etc. up-to-date.

Dont know what is going on with the Dell quality, I used to loved this computers, but between the fan, the overheating and the blue screens i was done.

Poor Battery Life and WiFi Problems

The battery life lasts a few hours only, and the WiFi constantly drops...and no, it's not a simple update of the driver or reset the network connections. Either the WiFi card itself is bad, or the driver does indeed need to be fixed by the manufacturer. Seems this line has had issues for awhile based on other research I've done. At the price point, I definitely expect better. Feels like a $300 laptop to me. The touchpad is also really sensitive, or not sensitive enough. The touchscreen operates in a similar manner with the included stylus. Yuck.

If you'd like to re-calibrate your touchpad you can follow these steps:
Some Notebooks and Tablets with Keyboards have added gesture features to the touchpad hardware and drivers. A few of these features are two or three finger scrolling, pinch zoom, circle zoom, rotate and swiping. These new features may be the reason for the erratic cursor movement since most are turned on by default. You can disable or modify the way the features work in the touchpad driver properties. Here are some tips to modify these settings:
1. In the Search box, type main.cpl.
2. Touch or click main.cpl in the list of programs.
3. Touch or click the Dell Touchpad tab.
4. Touch or click on the picture of the touchpad.
5. Touch or click Gestures (depending on your computer there may not be a Gestures option).
6. Change the options as preferred.
7. Touch or click Save.
8. Touch or click the X in the upper-right corner to close the Dell Touchpad Utility.
9. Touch or click OK on the Mouse Properties window.
10. If the touchpad still does not work after following the preceding steps, refer to Dell Knowledge Base article - http://dell.to/2iaiujA.

This is my fourth Dell laptop!

The price was reasonable and I like Dell laptops that are 13"! The only issue I have noticed so far is that it runs a little warm. I would recommend if you are looking for a laptop that is reasonably priced and lasts!
