I have used an Acer for years, but I wanted to change brands, and we found Dell at our local BEST BUY. I was hesitant at first, but it turned out that it is so easy to use and the directions were so well written that I could follow along very easily.

Great price on sale. Good laptop for the money! Starts quickly and plenty of memory.

Works great! Good color and quick on it's feet. Used mostly for web searching and emails. No Gaming.

I have had this computer for a month. Until yesterday I was ready to return it and get a different product. finally so frustrated I called Geek Squad and we went remote. It took about 2 hours but the service agent was very patient and determined. My internet connection was continually going out when the computer 3 feet away stayed connected. THe printer that I wa trying to add would be located but not able to add to Device. My screen was so touchy that I continually had to restart an activity or retype whole sentences. BUT the service agent worked her magic. I have not disconnected since then. Have typed this without any issues. my printer works like a printer should. and my speed is up to the 2 G that I am supposed to have.

This laptop was nice but only after 1 hr i felt it quite hot on my legs, much hotter than any other computer I have owned. Over heating so I returned it. I really wanted to love my Dell. Have Dell desktops which work well.

This computer does everything I need and more. Streaming movies looks amazing, I can work and stream at the same time. Picture quality is great, ram is fast, if your looking for a laptop that will do what you need, I Highly recommend. It will run games too but not pc quality.

Setup was smooth. Using it as if I have had it for a long time.

Laptop is super fast and the screen resolution is great. I didn’t know if I’d use the 2 in 1 feature but I find it very convenient.

This is a value for money laptop as the screen size and metal body gives you the premium look and feel.. the backlight keyboard helps to work even in dark rooms .. overall a very good laptop for daily use office and home use 4.5 on /5

What a great little machine. This is my favorite everyday use laptop now. The size is super portable, barely taking up more room than my tablet. The touch screen allows me to play card games and mahjong right on my laptop, and my tablet might be a little redundant now. I had the 16” previous version of this laptop, and this little guy is more pleasant to use as long as you don’t need the extra screen real estate. The color is listed as Ice Blue, but it sure looks silver to me. I can only see some blue when I put it next to a plain silver machine. I thought it would be a little more colorful, but it’s plenty tasteful and attractive. There is some chassis flex, but it does not feel cheap or fragile, it flexes with confidence. The shape of the palm deck is brilliant, I don’t get fatigued when typing for long stretches, it’s got a smoothed edge on the front which makes all the difference for comfort. This is the best laptop typing experience since my ‘00s Thinkpad. High praise. Startup is instantaneous. Its important to remember that any new computer you get is going to need to download massive amounts of updates and restart many times. This is not the fault of the folks who made your computer, but the nature of modern operating systems. Dell’s updates were for the hardware and their own software, much less disruptive than all of the Microsoft updates. The fingerprint reader on the power button is great, I very much prefer using Face ID with an IR camera, but that might be a higher price point feature. The power button fingerprint reader is fast and accurate, I use a few different fingers and it reads them all instantly. I am disappointed by one facet of this laptop, the USB connectivity is rather pathetic and feels like a forced downgrade that hobbles connectivity for this machine, you cannot use real high speed external storage or true docking stations with this laptop. It will work fine with external monitors, but the speed of the ports is a little embarrassing. The fan does do some hard work whenever doing processor or graphics intensive work, e.g. playing a game, doing some video rendering, etc. When the laptop is sitting on a surface the fan is noticeable but not intrusive, but when I put the laptop on my cooling mat, which opens the bottom, the fan noise has a high pitched dentist drill quality to it. Overall, this is the best everyday laptop I’ve ever used and definitely a keeper. I look forward to years of good service with this Dell.
