But for under $200 I thought I'd give one of these Microsoft "Chromebook Killers" a try. What a mistake !! Granted this Dell had double the memory of a similar priced Chromebook. Plus the extra enticing bonus of a free 1-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365. But let me tell you, this thing was insanely SLOW. Everything from boot-up, to loading programs, to getting on the internet took 2-3 times longer than what my HP Chromebook did.; I finally got so fed up with this unit's overall sluggishness that less than one week latter I returned the unit to Best Buy and got an Acer Chromebook to replace it. Three months latter I'm glad I made the switch back to Chrome.

A Good Buy

As it turned out, this laptop is so THIN that it does not have an ethernet port. So, I had to buy a usb to ethernet cable for $20 in order to do it. Ober all, it is a good buy. I bought another as a Xmas gift and got it for $179 - a really great buy!

Great Lap Top for web browsing for the kids.
