Nice computer for a starter..easy to use..easy setup..

It is good for the price, basic, but all I really need

The price was good but I guess you get what you pay for. Lagging issues and hard drive components take up half the space. Decent but not what I expected from Dell.

I bought 2 of the laptops, one each for my twin high school daughters. They tell me that they are very happy with the laptops. The laptops are much fster than their old ones and they can do everything that my daughters need them to do for school and play.

Easy to use. Getting used to Windows 10 from using Vista is quite different. You can go anywhere between Windows 10 and the Internet.

Bought this door buster after Black Friday for $100... This will be my son's first regular sized computer... At the moment, price and purpose are just perfect...

good product, basic laptop but low memory capacity

was looking for a light and compact laptop for travel and found it in this Dell 14" Inspiron. it is not the fastest thing in the world but it is perfect for returning email and editing documents on the go. the touch screen is awesome and helps you stay connected easily while you are on the road or traveling aboard.

I should have read more on it for the cd rom but its light weight and works very well with the wifi ...I wish these things came with word now a days

The laptop is great if you are simply using it for general reasons such as reports or organization. I would caution anyone who is looking for more powerful use such as streaming or gaming because it can hardly handle youtube. I use it for organization in my studies and put together essays with no issue but once i attempt to search on the internet some pages load very slow and the buffer rate is that of a snail sliding in a marathon. Over all im pleased with the use for an advanced note book but other things just can't load efficiently. 3 stars for me.

I was a little iffy about wanting to spend this much on a laptop since it would not be my main computer. But I am actually very happy I spent a little more than planned. It is great! The touch screen is easy to get used to. I am very happy.

Purchased for a pesky 8 year old who'se days on my iPad were limited. Is a great starter computer for him, and when I need to jump on the web to complete forms, and the other pc's in the house are being used, his new one is available.

I bought this laptop for my 16 year old son for web surfing. It boots fast and works well, but has very low storage. My son uses external hard drive and likes the battery's life.

I was looking for a laptop to use while I was job hunting. This laptop was perfect. It was good for using the internet. With Office installed, it was perfect for writing my resume. I would recommend this for anyone that needs internet and basic software needs.

Great little laptop. I needed it for a study class where I could plug in different thumb drives an read off of it. Didn't buy it for the space or to download anything since my phone carries more space than this laptop. For under two hundred dollars I can't complaint. It served its purpose.

this is the perfect laptop for general computing. email. web. office. remote access to work. has the capability of dual screen. built in bluetooth works a treat with an external bluetooth keyboard paired to a 24" monitor makes a great dual screen pc. this will not be a gaming rig and should never be considered as such, most complaints are from those who bought because of the low price and tried to run a bunch of stuff. yes it only has 32gig of onboard storage. it was never meant to have a bunch. no you cant install 50 programs on it. but it will allow you to run pendrive programs installed to an sd card. runs kodi/tvmc perfect.

I was looking for a basic laptop. A Best Buy sales rep recommended this one. It came pre-loaded with Windows 10 and Office 365. I purchased (and recommend) the Geek Squad set up and protection plan. Shortly after leaving the store Geek Squad called me and told me the laptop didn't have enough memory to update Windows 10. How is it possible that the laptop came with a program that was too big for the memory? I went back to the store and a Geek Squad Tech recommended a Levono, which cost more.

This is a great computer for the low price I paid during a flash sale. It does the basics and I am not too worried if it is damaged or stolen on campus since I did not pay too much for it. Not powerful or fast, but perfect for completing school work and uploading it to the teachers.
