I picked up this little guy on sale for something I can tote around to school and such. It comes in windows home "S" mode which really wouldn't have worked for me, but it's an easy fix to revert to regular windows 11 home. If you're looking for a laptop for school, something like this is great. And it's super easy and inexpensive to upgrade the ram too.

Love the touch screen option and tge easy set been enjoying using my computer.

Unfortunately, it was stuck in Windows 11 Home S Mode. There is an option to exit S Mode if you want a fully functional Windows OS, and it is supposed to be easy to switch to do, but mine gave an error every time, and none of the troubleshooting steps I found online worked. And from what I found while troubleshooting, this seems to be a common problem with S Mode. The safest option is to avoid purchasing anything running Windows 11 in S Mode. So I returned it. For those who don't know, S Mode is a limited version of the Windows OS that prevents you from installing programs from outside the app store - which is most software, including all web browsers other than Edge. The lack of apps on the Windows Store is exactly why the Windows Phone failed, so why Microsoft insists on gambling on S Mode in the hopes that technically unsavvy users will settle for a computer that has only partial functionality and limited software, I can't imagine. Even Microsoft's own built in registry editor was treated as an "unverified program" and thus inaccessible.
