The product is good but it doesn’t have the backlight that’s the only drawback

i purchased it and couldn't wait for the initial set up because i had a deadline to meet for a job I was working on. The turn around time for the GEEK squad to get me up and running was 3 days. I thought I could do it myself to save time and get my project rolling. But it was a mess right out of the box!! So I took it in to get the squad to work it out. Took 2 days anyway! It didn't perform as I expected. First time owning a DELL. It wouldn't work with more than 3 windows open at a time. It became slow and just froze.

I researched and planned for months on which brand and configuration best suited my needs and budget. I chose this model from BestBuy. I made a bad choice! I am so frustrated and annoyed at the number of times it has frozen up, and I have had to force a shutdown. then restart. I also have lost track of the number of times that the cursor simply disappeared, while the keyboard, touch pad and touch screen all became nonresponsive, again, requiring me to force a shutdown and restart. I honestly DO regret my purchase. I never write reviews and hate that I have to write this bad one. But a new product should perform like a new product. Especially for the price.

Bought at what I thought was a great Black Friday price. Spent about 3 weeks putting in personal files and setting it up the way I wanted. Didn't even last a month before one morning it would not even turn on. Best Buy is being very good about returning it but my issue is with all my personal sensitive information in there. Having to trust that the hard drive would be wiped clean and that my info would protected is tough for me to believe. I would handle that part myself but can only assume me opening up the laptop and accessing the hard drive to wipe my personal info would some how prevent me from returning it. So worried about that to the point that I am considering eating the price of the laptop and not returning it just for piece of mind. Which is just sad but.......

bought this computer listed as "Open Box - Good Condition," but what I received was far from that. The device arrived scratched, clearly showing signs of wear, and missing the charger, which was not disclosed in the description. This is more like "Fair" or even "Poor" condition

Speed is good most of the time ,but inexplicably it sometimes slowsdown.

Keep on freezing up, Dell will not recommend it to anyone

Runs fine, but the shell looks and feels cheap. Because of the 9-key the keyboard keys are smaller.

The battery stopped holding a charge not even a year after the computer was purchased.

Too slow for this student. However, the customer service was excellent.

I am so disappointed that I spent money on this computer. I had a 10 year old HP that was basically out of memory and STILL runs faster than this. I bought it specifically to have something that downloads fast, bought the version with a 1 TB hard drive and it's downloading at speeds that bring me back to AOL dial up. I'm actually shocked computers can exist in 2025 that run this slow. DO NOT BUY

While the systems seem to run well, the quality of the material of the laptop seemed too flimsy as if the keyboard could easily break in the first minor mishap.

Presentation is nice, just didn’t like the fact that the Xbox gamepass didn’t work out of the box. Found myself looking at some high level IT stuff to resolve and that is not cool.
