    been brad new it freeze like two time. Shouldn’t happen.

    unable to download what you want

    returned it as i was unable to download google chrome, as well as other programs that i wanted to use. kept getting an error message when trying to switch to "S mode". apparently a lot of newer laptops are like this and i'm not a fan.

    It’s not that smart decision to buy that actually it’s really big and heavy and it’s hard to carry every where for me it’s 50/50.

    I bought this and within a week it stopped working. It froze right up- nothing worked to unfreeze it. Then the entire PC got so HOT it almost burned me. Unable to return to Best Buy as went over their 30 day return policy. They suggested contacting Dell directly which is NEXT to impossible I will NEVER shop Best Buy or Dell again.

    works ok, but not great. turned out to be a pain in the butt to set up, even for your techs. Several trip with it to the store.

    I had so many issues with my order. I received an email saying my package was picked up and I never picked it up. I lived 3 hours away. I called and called and always got the contact center and they were no help. I had to go down there and threaten to call the police and then my order was magically found. And due to this whole ordeal I will no longer be making any purchases here through Best Buy. My item is amazing but the customer service part was horrible.

    I bought an excellent open box and a notebook came with the previous username and password to log in and I can't use it. It also has signs of use. The geek squad did not do their job, they gave me a notebook without checking it and setting it up from the factory. I do not recommend buying an excellent open box, it is a scam. Best buy did not give me a solution, it is the last time I shop with them.

    I wish Dell and Best Buy articulated in boulder language that Windows 11 S doesn't allow non Microsoft apps to be downloaded.

      Windows 10/11 in S mode is designed for security and performance, exclusively running apps from the Microsoft Store. If you want to install an app that isn't available in the Microsoft Store, you'll need to switch out of S mode. Switching out of S mode is one-way. If you make the switch, you won't be able to go back to Windows 10/11 in S mode.

      Below I have provided a few steps to help you :
      1. On your PC running Windows 10/11 in S mode, open Settings > Update & Security > Activation.
      2. In the Switch to Windows 10/11 Home or Switch to Windows 10/11 Pro section, select Go to the Store. (If you also see an "Upgrade your edition of Windows" section, be careful not to click the "Go to the Store" link that appears there.)
      3. On the Switch out of S mode (or similar) page that appears in the Microsoft Store, select the Get button. After you see a confirmation message on the page, you'll be able to install apps from outside the Microsoft Store.

    If i could give this laptop 0 stars I would. Bought for my wife to take on line classes. Anyways didn’t even use the laptop the first month since classes did not start. Now its time for the classes to begin and the thing will not charge. Avoid this laptop. Do yourself a favor and go with any other brand.

    Worst experience to buy online from bestbuy. I ordered two laptops and they wasted my three weeks and in the end cancelled my orders one by one. Very unpleasant, unethical, unprofessional period.

    I don't recommend this laptop. It's the worst purchase I have made in my life. It's only been 3 weeks with this computer and I regret not returning it before the 15 days return period. It keeps freezing and the battery is draining too fast.

      Battery operating time varies depending on operating conditions and can significantly reduce under certain power-intensive conditions. Below I have provided steps with the full article that can help you improve the battery performance of your laptop.

      1. On the notification area of the taskbar, right-click the Battery icon.
      2. On the options list, click Power Options.
      3. Select a power plan on the battery meter, such as Power Saver or Balanced. Windows 11 has a built in 'Battery Saver' mode that can be activated to extend your system's battery life. The Battery Saver mode will monitor and limit background activity and other features such as push notifications. You do have the option to enable or disable this mode within settings or within advanced Battery Saver settings, you can customize the mode to best suit your needs.

      a) Click on the Action Center icon in the taskbar and select the tile for Battery Saver.
      b) If running Cortana then type Battery Saver into the search box and select from the results.
      Within the Battery Saver settings page, you will be able to turn on and off the feature and customize the feature to best meet your needs.

    GARBAGE someone Contact Saratoga Springs im bringing it back today and Want a new Laptop today July 20th 2024 this will be my forth trip the tablet for my wife sent the same day was also GARBAGE I have had to bring back and she actually got a new tablet that I paid for because was GARBAGE now probably 400 miles on my car and over a hundred dollars in gas all fir Nothing your mail order SUCKS
