Open Box - NEVER AGAIN

Only option was to go into a store for a refund - which I wanted to avoid - hence ordering online. When I went into the store they offered a refund and told me I could purchase ANOTHER Open Box (Excellent) for 100 bucks more. Make it make sense!!! Urgh!

slow and not practical for what i meed

Simple basic worthless

In fact it would not download anything. Took it back and Best Buy agent informed me that it was not good enough of a computer to do downloading. What are they good for? Why wouldn’t this information be available before purchase? I was told I had to buy a computer that costs more than $500.

unable to download what you want

Faulty product and not able to return.

It froze right up- nothing worked to unfreeze it. Then the entire PC got so HOT it almost burned me. Unable to return to Best Buy as went over their 30 day return policy. They suggested contacting Dell directly which is NEXT to impossible I will NEVER shop Best Buy or Dell again.

I received an email saying my package was picked up and I never picked it up. I lived 3 hours away. I called and called and always got the contact center and they were no help. I had to go down there and threaten to call the police and then my order was magically found. And due to this whole ordeal I will no longer be making any purchases here through Best Buy. My item is amazing but the customer service part was horrible.

Don't buy open box

It also has signs of use. The geek squad did not do their job, they gave me a notebook without checking it and setting it up from the factory. I do not recommend buying an excellent open box, it is a scam. Best buy did not give me a solution, it is the last time I shop with them.

If you make the switch, you won't be able to go back to Windows 10/11 in S mode.

2. In the Switch to Windows 10/11 Home or Switch to Windows 10/11 Pro section, select Go to the Store. (If you also see an "Upgrade your edition of Windows" section, be careful not to click the "Go to the Store" link that appears there.)
3. On the Switch out of S mode (or similar) page that appears in the Microsoft Store, select the Get button. After you see a confirmation message on the page, you'll be able to install apps from outside the Microsoft Store.

Garbage

Bought for my wife to take on line classes. Anyways didn’t even use the laptop the first month since classes did not start. Now its time for the classes to begin and the thing will not charge. Avoid this laptop. Do yourself a favor and go with any other brand.
