I purchased a laptop that, in less than a year, developed issues with its hinge mechanism when opening and closing. I took it to Best Buy for assistance, but they claimed the damage was unlikely to be a manufacturing defect. My son, following guidance from a Fix Yourself video, identified the issue and discovered that the laptop was missing screws and had marks exactly where the damage occurred. On top of that, the laptop's motor makes a loud noise whenever it’s in use, further indicating poor quality. Despite these clear signs of defects, the store maintained it was not a factory issue and insisted on charging $85 just to send it in for repair, with no guarantee the problem would be covered. That fee represents 20% of the laptop's original cost! It's shocking to witness such dishonesty and lack of ethics in selling defective products and outright denying any manufacturing fault—especially when a representative guarantees their stance 100%.

Easy to use & Not too heavy good brand & quality, durability..price

Bad decision on my part to go with a low end product from Dell. I needed something only for writing documents. I ended up with a cheaply made piece of crap that gave me nothing but headaches. The touchpad was erratic no matter what I tried to do. And after having the laptop for only 5 months, the hinges that open and close the screen began to fail. By 6 months, both hinges were detached and couldn't hold the screen upright. Dell Technologies Repair Services claimed that the shotty manufacturing was not covered under warranty. They wanted to charge me $272 for all repairs. I paid $325 for it brand new. In only 10 months time, the Inspiron made it to the trash heap. I've switched to HP. Never again with Dell.

Great Gift for my mother! She loved it and fits her needs

Good laptop overall. Dell is a quality brand. Didn't like the Windows 11 pre installed with a nanny AI...you have to go in the settings and manually turn it off for the laptop to function as expected.

It has a decent run speed for the price. One main complaint that I have though is that the Chrome Web store, which is the only app store that you can use on this laptop, has significantly less apps.

This is more on the affordable side. Great for class with plenty of storage for large files. The only downside is the size of the laptop and the battery life seems to die more quickly than I’m used too. Otherwise, I love it.

I used it for work and it worked great for almost 2 years. After that, the plastic bezel on the side came off. I googled it and apparently, this is a thing with laptops that use plastic. For that reason, I do not recommend.

My husband bought this as a sirsee and I love it!! So glad he chose this computer, it fits me perfectly!!

I liked the fact that it was an openbox. And was identical to the one I accidentally ran over.

Solid lap top easy to use one knock keys don’t light up but still gets what you need done !
