After only 1 month of use after purchasing, I got the blue screen of death. The Bluetooth remembers your device but is unable to properly reconnect so you have to forget the device then rescan just to get it to reconnect, mind you at times you have to restart the laptop just to get your audio back to your systems stock speakers. Also, there are random moments when you wake the laptop up from sleep mode or after reopening the laptop that was not shutdown and it will lose your wifi connection and when you go to search for wifi nothing shows up and the only way to fix this is to restart your laptop. One more thing about the blue screen of death is that when I called dell because I knew my warranty was still active since it only had been one month of use, they notified me that it was the software that was the issue and that my one year warranty only covered the hard -drive and not the software. Then the agent offered to sell me a software warranty and said it would cover damage/repair, software, and hardware for 250$, and I told him I would rather take 250$ and invest it in another laptop because this is only 1 month in and it obviously had built in problems before it was purchased. It wasn't until that the agent realized that I was not going to purchase the 250$ warranty that all of a sudden they had a cheaper warranty that would just cover the software for which where my "issue was located." At that moment, was skeptical because he didn't offer me all the possible options for warranty he only offered me the one that was the best profit for the dell business. And the more I think about it, the more I have a feeling Dell is purposefully inserting software technical issues as a way to exploit us and capitalize their profits. The end.

We appreciate your feedback and we're sorry to hear about the Blue Screen Errors that you're experiencing. One way to diagnose the errors on your own is to follow these steps:
1. At the desktop, click the Search the web and Windows box and type "problem reports".
2. Select View all problem reports to view a list of errors that have occurred on your computer and possible solutions for them, such as updating drivers, flashing your system BIOS, or checking for updates to the software.
3. Under the Source column, look for Windows and under Summary, look for Shut down unexpectedly.
4. Right-click the line item and select Check for a solution.
We'd also suggest checking to make sure that your software and drivers are up to date on Dell's Product Page -  https://dell.to/2O9v4wg.
You can read the full article here - http://dell.to/2u98Cct.
We hope that once the issue is properly diagnosed that it can be resolved for you.

Bluetooth drops out, has to be re-booted
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not a great laptop. I was excited about the sleek aluminum case only to find out that it is slippery as all get out. Slides off my lap, slides off the bed, slides out of my hand as I hold it. The dang touch pad is a total pain, I will admit I hate touch pads in general, but I can hardly type anything without the cursor going bonkers leaving me typing in random places. Don't even try to look for a network connection there isn't one, no you get to spend another 50 bucks to buy one for your USB C. The bluetooth is always dropping out on my Airpods, which doesn't happen when I have my Airpods linked to my iPhone, so it's got to be the Dell. I have been in meetings only to have the Airpods dropout then I have to re-start the computer because I get the computer to use it's speakers. Ridiculous. I am liking Windows 10 but I am NOT liking the Dell Inspirion 7000. Probably won't buy another Dell.

Posted .DavidC,
Thanks for your review and we're sorry to hear about the issues that you've been having with your new 2-in-1. We'd recommend the following steps for re-calibrating your touchpad so it's not so sensitive: Some Notebooks and Tablets with Keyboards have added gesture features to the touchpad hardware and drivers. A few of these features are two or three finger scrolling, pinch zoom, circle zoom, rotate and swiping. These new features may be the reason for the erratic cursor movement since most are turned on by default. You can disable or modify the way the features work in the touchpad driver properties.
Here are some tips to modify these settings:
1. In the Search box, type main.cpl.
2. Touch or click main.cpl in the list of programs.
3. Touch or click the Dell Touchpad tab.
4. Touch or click on the picture of the touchpad.
5. Touch or click Gestures (depending on your computer there may not be a Gestures option).
6. Change the options as preferred.
7. Touch or click Save.
8. Touch or click the X in the upper-right corner to close the Dell Touchpad Utility.
9. Touch or click OK on the Mouse Properties window.
10. If the touchpad still does not work after following the preceding steps, refer to Dell Knowledge Base article - http://dell.to/2iaiujA.

Worst PC I've purchased in a decade
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always been a Dell user and thought this would be the best laptop available. I wanted a touchscreen and one I could draw and write with a smart pen. The touchscreen is useless because the slightest bump moves the cursor and even makes it stick on the task bar. Using a smart pen makes the cursor go crazy on screen and switching from tablet to PC mode is a nightmare. There is also enough useless junk programs installed to make its efficiency a joke and you have to hack into the programs to uninstall a throttling mechanism for your wifi speed. As bad of a purchase as I've ever made.
