I thought I could live without a backlit keyboard, but it turned out to be a major drawback. The final straw was the frequent restarts on the login screen which froze on the keypad & touchscreen. That began within 24 hours of receipt. Needless to say, it went back the same week!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had this laptop for just a little over a week. It's a great laptop except for one little problem. It does not show true colors. Video streamed from Netflix, Hulu, etc., had a muddy, sepia quality and needed the contrast boosted to make it more vivid. Reds did not show as red. I filled a jpg image with #FF0000 (true red) in Paintshop and the document looked more of a dark orangey/red. Anything pink looked more of a salmon color. I did everything I could to calibrate the screen using both Windows color calibration and the Radeon software, but nothing changed. I took the laptop in to Geek Squad and, after the tech looked at it, said there was nothing wrong, that's just the way it displayed color. I've no idea if it's a fault of the LCD, the video card, or what, but if you want a laptop that displays true color, this isn't the one. I ended up returning this within the return/exchange period and getting an Asus Vivobook instead.

We apologize for your experience and have provided steps below that can assist with the display color issues if needed in the future. We have provided steps below that can help adjust your color depth through Windows 10 if needed in the future.
1. Close all open programs.
2. You can either right click Start, and then click Control Panel or click on start and type Control Panel and click the icon that appears.
3. In the Control Panel window, click System, and then click Display.
4. Select the monitor you want to change, if more than one is connected to your PC.
5. Click the Display Adapter Properties link.
6. Select List All Modes.
7. Choose your resolution, color depth and refresh rate from the list and click on OK
8. Click OK again to exit the properties window.
