I loved this laptop. it is very good and Ive had it for 3 years already. the only con that this laptop has was the battery because it drains so fast.

Worked so well and had zero complaints.. surprisingly cheap

I purchased this laptop about a week ago and so far I am very impressed both with functionality and speed. The keyboard is taking a little bit of getting used to but that is because I am not fully familiar with the layout of the function keys yet. One slight criticism would be that there is no backlight on the keyboard but I can live with that. Once I got the laptop home I immediately tried to install Windows 10 Pro but struggled. It turned out to be a 2016 version of Windows 10 that wouldn't install correctly (missing drivers, updates not going on etc.). I purchased a more recent version and everything is fine now. One word of warning about the installed operating systems. Windows 10 Home comes pre-installed but it is running in 'S' (safe mode) and it will not let you install or download any software that isn't Microsoft certified. The solution is to turn off 'S' mode. This is done by going into "Setting">"Update and Security" then click "Activation" and turn off 'S' mode. All in all I am extremely pleased and impressed with the laptop. Definitely worth the money.

Our son needed a pc for his new online school and not a Mac which we had already gotten him. I really have to say that this is an amazing laptop for the price. The 12 gig ram makes an enormous difference, we purchased an hp before this and it barely booted up. This is fast, very responsive and intuitive. I highly recommend for any use in the house.

Excellent computer. Light weight it and prestigious looking. Only thing is that the writing. On the keys could have been a more pronounced.

This is a very average laptop with decent internals, a plastic casing and really poor battery life. So poor, I had to return it. I got just over four hours unplugged with this laptop. That's really bad. The plastic casing makes it feel cheap and no backlit keyboard is a drag. I knew about both of these before I purchased it, however I did not know other companies offer an aluminum casing, backlit keyboard, better processor 2.4 vs the Dell 1.0. for about $20 more than the orig. price of this Dell. Being able to link your phone to the laptop was the draw at first. And it does work. You can receive messages and even make calls. However, it does not support group texts, memes or pics sent or received. I'm on a couple of different group chat text and you cannot receive them through the Dell mobile. What I did not realize is how poor the battery life would be. I decided to just spend some time on FB and doing some light surfing/shopping with the laptop unplugged. As I mentioned, I got just over four hours before it shut down. Four. Hours. You're Dell. You've been around long enough, you could do better. If this were marked $100 lower, and you don't plan on ever using it unplugged, it may be worth it. However at $600, for $20 more, there are other companies offering much more bang for your buck (better/faster processor, aluminum casing, backlit keyboard etc). Shop around.

Purchased this as an Open Box item. Computer seems to work well. Only complaint is the amount of bloat ware installed. Have not ever played Xbox, nor do I have any plans/intentions to. It would be nice if I could completely delete it from my laptop.. . But, I can't. I feel like I'm still in the 'honeymoon phase'. So far, so good.

I got this for my wife's birthday 6 months ago and have been trying real hard to like this every since. It's good for things like looking up recipes or skimming some websites but that's about this laptop's capacity. Try to play any game and it quickly gets too hot to touch. I bought coolant tray, which does almost nothing. We have a fan blowing on it, which gives it another 5 minutes. We lay the laptop on a frozen coolant package and it still crashes multiple times per hour! Keep searching. You can find something better.
