This computer was ok for 6 months. It has semi-annual malfunctions, whether it's the power supply connection, battery, hard drive, etc. This turned out to be no better than a cheap laptop, and I can order a cheaply made laptop off the internet for a lot less. This just has the Dell name on it. Don't bother with the warranty - they find ways to not pay for fixing problems.

This computer has been my best friend since I bought it. It has not let me down.

I lik the needed infoe my new Dell computer very much,my wife especially likes the touchscreen feature!I downloaded some of my wifes diabetic programs to uplopad info to her doctors & it went very well.They called me the next day and said they were getting info with no problems.I also like its fast boot up speed,that was why I got a new laptop in the first place=my old gateway was getting very slow.Thanks Dell.

Great laptop, it is very reliable and runs everything very smoothly!

Pros • Super reliable- not slow or anything, streaming is perfect, keyboard is spill proof but have not tested that yet, nice storage, (bought it to play sims for the most part &) it runs really smooth Cons• the matte black makes finger prints visible but nothing a case or constant wipe downs can’t fix, battery life could be better but it’s not terrible

No problems with the unit versus lower price units. It is very reliable.

So happy with this Dell laptop purchase. The touch screen makes simple tasks easy, super fast processor, a lot of storage. Works great for light gaming as well. The one thing I had to change was removing the “s”mode from Windows 10 to make purchases that aren’t Microsoft products. Once you remove “s” mode you lose the built in security and can’t get it back. I have a yearly security subscription for Webroot and is great! Got a great deal $100 off.

EXCELLENT DELL TOUCH SCREEN COMPUTER WITH SUPER PICTURE QUALITY AND SOUND

I have had this for 4 days and noticed the battery life is crap. I have fully charged it several times and it quicly discharges with in 3 hours or less using interweb only. I have followed Dell procedure using the control panel to check power to no avail. It will be going back. Otherwise seems like a good laptop, but usless with battery power issues.

Great affordable laptop. Used it for school work!!

Recently got this for my daughter who's about to start her senior year in high school. This was to replace her over three year old entry-level Lenovo laptop which was already showing its wear-and-tear and could no longer cope with school and study demands (with some minor repairs we will retain it as our family "beater" computer). Out of several lower-priced (below $700 range) laptops on display at Best Buy, we chose this Dell mostly based on the favorable reviews here, while taking note of the minority negative ones. Although this cost over $600 with tax, the clincher for us was the Core i5 processor -- not a high-performance one, but way better than those installed in the lower-priced (below $500) products. Other pluses were the decent-sized 15.6" touch-screen, sturdy looks/construction, light weight and color. Time will tell if it's built to last.
