This Dell is an excellent upgrade to the Dell Inspiron it replaced (from 8 years ago). It's faster and easier to use; only complaint: the "a" key sometimes doesn't depress. Also, we have the GS contract BUT didn't receive 15% discount on cost of GS transferring files onto new Dell . . . paid full boat for the transfer: disappointing!

Not bad price for just surfing the net or doing homework.

I bought that laptop because the one I had did not stay connected to the wireless and was a little slow. This one is perfect for what I use it for, my son loves it.

I needed a laptop for documents, spreadsheets, internet, etc. Light weight and easy to use. Store clerk gave me great advice on my purchase, in and out in a flash!

This laptop does everything i need very fast. I do not do graphic intensive work so everything is super fast. this is an excellent upgrade of my 5 year old laptop!

If you're looking for a budget laptop for daily tasks and nothing too extreme, this will get the job done. Just had to adjust the colors to make the screen more vivid and cleaned the junk off the hard drive, like you should do for any PC, and it runs great. Upgrading the RAM in this model is a pain, though. You have to disassemble almost the whole unit to get to the RAM slots, so be warned on that.

My electrical apprenticeship said I needed a laptop, I compared different ones at different stores and ended up getting this one, just so happen it also had an in-store discount that was going on, but wasn't advertised....so far I've only used it to watch netflix, I have yet to use it for it's intended purpose, but so far so good

This laptop was easy to setup and get working. Had no issues at all and has proven to be a great traveling companion for our salesperson. She loves what it offers.

For the price you get a good deal. For someone who use it for emails, pictures, netflix, social networking and some casual games its perfect with a lot of storage.
