This is a great laptop for a high school freshman to meet his needs for learning, as well as being able to view DVDs and playing games when time permits.

I would recommend for beginners and its worth the price. I purchased on a $50 discounted deal for a basic user.

I've had a number of different brands of computers, this Dell so far rates better then my IBM laptop and Hewritt Packard desktop. My Toshiba still me favorite. Only issue I've had is having internet connection dropping, which seems to be a Microsoft issue.

Bought this for my husband's use at home and for church program work. Easy to use, has worked out great.

Bought this computer for a family member, it's a nice design, and built solid. The processor is a little weak though, it can struggle on some task. Overall a good budget computer if you're planning to just use it for the internet and other basic task!

The laptops are great for my kids. They now can do their homework really quick due to the speed of the computer.

This cheap laptop is ok. No issues. However, the battery life was too low for me (3.5 hours at best). I had to return it. If you don't need a long battery life, it's a pretty decent entry level laptop.

Nice laptop for the price. So far this device works very well for the purpose I intended which is daily internet and email access as well as picture and file storage. I do however question the durability of the hardware and only time will tell for that.

Great deal! Love it and it's my first laptop! I do wish it had a light or a notification for the num lock function! I can never tell if it is on or not! I'm going to call and ask if I'm missing something! Otherwise I can't find anything bad about it!

So far- so good. Microsoft has installed several updates to their Windows 10 64bit O S. My only complaint so far is that I mistakenly expected it to be touch screen and it's not. Also I haven't figured out how to burn music files to the cd/dvd drive.

Dell was on sale. Great price. Computer has good specs. Only 1 month old. We'll see how it performs over time.

This computer does everything I need without paying for things I will not use. Does it all for a great price.

If you do not load many programmes, good speed on browsing, has DVD drives, sturdy built. Good for a starter.

This is my 3rd or 4th Dell Laptop (3rd Inspiron) that I have owned and I needed a newer, updated computer for my work projects. This one fit the bill, as well as my wallet! I've used Dell products since the 80's - tried a few others - and always came back to Dell. They stand behind their products and I've always been pleased with their many choices and prices they have available. (P.S.The Geek Squad is ready, willing and able to help at a moments notice!)

I bought this laptop knowing how bad Dell service is and yet the price got me. One month after the warranty expired the power failed, Dell says the usual "Sorry nothing we can do", turns out it wasn't just the power it was the MOTHERBOARD. I bought this to replace an EIGHT YEAR OLD Acer that still works however very slow, My wife has a 6 year old HP still going strong. The last Dell I bought before this lasted less than 2 years, I should have known better. Yes I could have added an extended warranty for 80% the cost of this PC. Motherboard dead and about $190 to get a new and replace it myself. Buy Dell and pay the price, again and again and again.

For the money it is a good and fast computer. it's a Dell and a great value. Very happy with this purchase.

Love this computer for what we use it for. Just putzing around at home. Great price for a really nice laptop.

Standard Dell good quality, and the keyboard is a plus if you do a lot of data entry/accounting work. Large touchpad works well. Recurring problem with the DVD player stopping when loading software, I've replaced the driver twice, currently working.
