This is a great gaming laptop if you're on a budget . I can run most things in medium to high graphics. The one thing I would complain about is the laptop's padding being very susceptible to finger prints due to the material it's made of. Overall it's a decent gaming laptop

I bought the laptop not for gaming, but for a specific piece of software, Media Shout. I use it to develop and project our church service onto screens in our sanctuary. The previous laptop, while fast enough in speed, it did not have the graphics card and memory to support the software. It works great!

Great for your everyday web browsing. I can also play some Path of Exile on Med/High with little or no lagging/frame rate loss. Next step is to see how well Netflix preforms while hardwired. The display seems fine as well. No issues with lighting or viewing angles.

Pretty good laptop. I dont use it to game, but to stream and upload video and webcast/skype. It works good

This laptop is very smooth and awesome. Played some of my favorite games if not with max settings, high. The sound on this laptop is great, very loud and will deliver a great gaming experience if looking for one. Do not worry much about the screen, it is a great combination.

This is a really good laptop. I have been able to run quite a few games on it no problem and medium to high settings. This wouldn't cut it if you game hard all the time or if you want top end performance but it is good enough as a secondary pc or casual gaming.

Good graphics card and easily upgradable laptop for running the virtual reality cycling programs that I use for training. I added a low cost solid state hard drive and additional 8 GB of RAM and the speed is great. Very pleased with the laptop's cost, ease of upgrade, and performance.

I was in the market for a newer gaming laptop when this model went on sale. I use it for some moderate gaming and for general home applications and have been very pleased with its performance so far. The build quality is up to par with previous Dell products.

While Windows 10 can be hit or miss for me (Xbox for Windows games deciding they are not going to install and have to factory reset to get them to install). Everything else has worked pretty well. The display looks nice, no issues there. The computer does tend to get loud and seems to overheat easily when using recommended or less settings for games. There has been some freezing issues related to high disk space utlilage issues (Due to some Windows processes). Most of the freezing has gone away when I added another 8GB of memory and installed a secondary solid state drive. Though don't feel like you have to go that route unless you run into the same issues I encountered. It still tends to get loud and overheat, though a cooling pad has helped with that as well. Overall, happy with the purchase and works much better after a couple upgrades.

This laptop has been more than enough for gaming (fps, moba, etc) and was super easy to set up and use. The only thing is it would blue screen of deatn when I unplugged my ethernet cord, but was fixed by a simple driver update.

From the day I got this thing, it’s never run like a “new” computer. I had to reformat it the second day I had it, necessitating redownloading all my software a second time. In the past few months, it’s been primarily used for video games, which run very smooth once I get them running, which is the only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1. However, this thing is slow to boot, slow to wake up from sleep, slow to log in a user, slow to start a program. It often (1-2 times a month) shuts down with no warning and then makes me restart it again when I turn it back on. I am now having hardware issues after less than 6 months where the laptop will not turn on at all. Hopefully geek squad can help without breaking the bank, since I already dropped a decent amount on the computer itself. Save yourself a headache and go with a different gaming laptop.
