It’s now August, it’s been fun for I what I use it for .Replacing a 10year old dell 17 inch laptop. I can run what I want now. Well worth the price of what I paid for . Great price at Best Buy

The Dell Inspiron is the most affordable gaming laptop I was able to find, and after using it for around 8 months, I have no complaints. It is fast, it plays games well, even newer, more demanding ones, and after years of using Apple MacBooks and Macbook Pros, I can safely say I will not be going back to Apple. Windows 10 is snappy, clean, and enables many programs which are not available on Apple laptops. This laptop has allowed me to pursue my dreams, and it continues to provide the power and reliability I need to work remotely, and it did so all without breaking the bank. I highly recommend this laptop, as now I can hardly imagine life without it.

This laptop was purchased for gaming, especially IRacing.com. However, my son has chosen to use it more for other online gaming. He spends "way too much time" on the laptop, but I am able to get other things done around the house. So for the laptop, it is holding up to daily use of a 10 year old. When used for gaming, the graphics looks great and clear. I don't know "computer lingo" to state how well it keeps up with the games and looks clear while he is connected online for gaming. I didn't give it 5 stars because I don't know all that it is capable of doing and if it meets those standards.

We recently got rid of our desktop and wanted a laptop my husband could do some of his gaming on. So far, we both love it (practicality and gaming-wise). Paid a good price for a wonderful product.

I bought this laptop to better handle graphics editing and some gaming. The laptop is fast, easy to us and can handle most anything I've thrown at it, where my previous couldn't even handle basics.

I added some more ram on this baby and boy it works awesome for gaming. I use it more than my desktop due to travel and battery life is to die for.

I've always been weary about buying Dell products but I can say my opinion has changed. This laptop is great for anyone who wants to start taking gaming seriously and who doesn't have a limitless budget. I bought my laptop so I wouldn't have to lug my desktop around when I went over to friend's houses. I am extremely happy with my purchase and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get into gaming or needs a decent laptop for work.

Reasonable price for a gaming Laptop. I can run several games on my steam like LoL, Dota, Fallout, Overwatch, Vrchat, etc., on this laptop. Aswell as several others at a consistent 40+ FPS up to 95 fps. Note: the higher fps are for games that are smaller in memory space as well as low-level map design. The usual level that I run my settings is high quality or medium quality, again it all depends on the game. League is on Ultra High Quality, Fo4 is medium. It definitely can't replace a Computer etc or even the higher qulity $2k + gaming laptops, but for the power that comes with it and design I would say it is a great steal.

I would but this laptop again if I had to. So good. I was a bit skeptical after reading the reviews at first but these are people who expect perfection at this price. Sure the TN panel or the 5400 Rpm 1tb hdd isn’t all that great, but it has a 1050 4GB paired w a i5-7300hq that boosts up to 3.50Ghz. I use this for gaming and school. High 1080p @60 FPS for games such as fortnite, pubg, bo3, rainbow six siege. For school it’s just tasks such as google drive. Overall amazing for the price.

Works great with low- and mid-demand games on highest settings, and can perform very well on intensive games with a few settings lowered, even while recording. I see complaints about the viewing angle but as long as you're facing the screen directly, you shouldn't have any issues. Once the fans kick in, it's pretty loud, but any type of headphones would muffle it enough to not be annoying in any way. It is advertised as VR ready, but the Nvidia app built in states otherwise, however I have no way of testing it out. Perhaps at the lowest settings it would work fine.

This laptop is very good looking the specs are good for the price and it runs all of my favorite games (Skyrim, fallout 4, league of legends etc.) on the highest settings. I throughly enjoy it and would recommend.

The Best Buy associate talked me out of buying a SLIGHTLY cheaper computer and picking this one up on an open box deal. It had scratches on the bottom (rest assured I never see them). So I got a GREAT deal and LOVE this laptop. Great graphics, great sound, great everything.

I got everything set up and it’s all great. The computer is super fast and has good speakers for a laptop so I can listen to music. The graphics card is the best and the computer was a great value. You can do so much more with gaming computers than you can ordinary laptops

Good gaming laptop for young boys. I purchased this laptop for my two boys 11 and 13 years old, who mainly wanted to play Minecraft and games similar. I was told that Minecraft could run on just about any computer and it should be able to handle it no problem. The Minecraft game was very leggy over the Wi-Fi network and I have a very good Wi-Fi network. When connected through a cat cable it seems to work much better. I have read that I should upgrade to our cat six and as long as you are connected this game seems to be fine The boys have yet to try other games .

I work a lot on the road and on the go, so this thing handles well. You do have to do a bit of work to get it game ready, but nothing you wouldn't regularly do. I Dropped in a fast SSD, and it has the slot for it, on board. You also have space for a 2.5 drive, I dropped an SSD in there as well. It boots fast, and will handle most games at low settings, but you can play. Seems to play better with external HDMI out. I don't know if the weak link is the video card or the display..Haven't narrowed it down yet.

Impressive at price but needs touch screen and better lcd panel. Runs everything I've thrown at it. Bought on sale and for the price the touchscreen and lcd are worth dealing with. Can't even get close with any other machine at this price.

As for laptops go, I enjoy this one, I threw in a second ram stick and an M.2 drive and now I use it almost every day. my last laptop didn't have dedicated graphics or an ssd, so this is a very much needed switch for not only mild gaming, but just in general everything. I got it for a price that was lower than clearance, so there really wasn't any reason to refuse for me. So far the only thing I have issues with it is the sound of jet engines when the fans kick in at full blast. (only really happens if I cover the bottom when gaming)

Bought tgia for my Son becaise he wants to play PC games. After reading the reviews from far more qualified folks than myself, I made the purchase. Have not been disappointed yet!

I needed to replace my old ASUS Laptop which was dying a slow death. I used to be a heavy gamer but now I am professional photographer who stores and edits all of my work on computer. So I asked in Best But what Laptop would be good for both photo editing and gaming. I was shown my new Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming Series Laptop and I was sold. It is fast, user friendly, lighter in weight than my old laptop, and geek squad set everything up for me. Transferring data and various saved online content to my new Dell was a breeze. Photo editing is very easy and smooth now. Basically I Love my new Dell Laptop.
