Decent for the price

Plays games decent even online with a good network connection. Will run BFBC 2 on high settings Fallout 3 and Fortnite on medium settings. Able to render pictures ok but it is not as fast as an i7 and is a little slow on loading some programs. Memory is expandable and can also add an ssd in the future. Not as much bloatware as other off the shelf computers but still more than I would like to see. Whats not to like about an i5 with 8gb ram, 1050 gpu and 1TB hd for under$700 on sale

1. Close all open windows.
2. Press the Windows logo key + X key on the keyboard.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great midrange laptop, gets the job done and as with any Dell product will last for a good while My only complaint is the screen doesnt boast the vibrant colors of some other brands, feels a bit washed, but its not enough to be distracting or an issue at all when plugged into a monitor. End of the day you will be hardpressed to find this performance at this price level.

Awesome Gaming Laptop

This Dell SCREAMS with the nVidia GTX 1050. The finish on the laptop is excellent, the red hi-lighting even impressed my picky daughter. For the price, it was unbeatable.

He wanted a gaming laptop that would play some of the graphics-heavy games. This plays the games he likes with no lagging. So far he has been very pleased with it. Great budget gamer / HORRIBLE Display!

I do believe Dell digged into the bottom of the pile for the TN display panels used on this laptop. Seriously this is the worst panel EVER, but it can be easily replaced with an IPS panel for about $60-$80 and then this thing is almost perfect. So unless you plan to swap out the display, I'd recommend connecting to an external display when using this computer.
