Bought online with a geek squad service contract. Had some minor software issues, mostly with Cortana. Took it my best but store and Geek Squad got it back to me in two days running perfectly. Good laptop for the price, glad I had Geek squad,

This is my first dell computer. So far so good! was really afraid of windows 10. But I had it running in 1 hour for me thats great! It is doing everything I need. I like the ask me anything button very helpful. After I've had it awhile. I'll write another review if I have problems. I like it so far.

This laptop contains all the features I wanted to replace an older unit bought back when Windows 7 came out. I wanted a dvd player built in, wanted the latest Intel and 1 TB, did not have any use for touch screen or backlit keyboard as this laptop will be connected to an exterior monitor and wireless keyboard/mouse. My only fear was Windows 10 and learning curve needed to maximize its features. Although off the subject of the laptop, I have been pleasantly surprised with 10 so far. Using Laplink which is free from Microsoft, I transferred all of my doc's, photos and videos using a wireless connection. I also have a few older XP programs that installed easily (one I have to put in compatibility mode). This laptop is great deal. My Best Buy salesman at the LaQuinta store even did a search for a cheaper price and saved me even a few more bucks. Too bad its being discontinued, because this is a great laptop, at a great price.

I just love this laptop. It works pretty fast with all the configurations I desired. Would highly recommend this cheap and best laptop for all the tech savvy people.

If you're not looking for anything too fancy, this is a nice-powered laptop for only about $500 bucks. Everything I've used runs smoothly on it, and it's been great for schoolwork and stuff. I'm also able to play the Starcraft 2 trilogy on it, so it's gaming tech is pretty good.

I bought this pc for my wife. She absolutely loves it. We were a little concerned that 6MB of memory might be a little weak for Windows 10 but she has had no indication of that during her use. She mostly uses it for internet searches and shopping as well as email and social media. The price was right too!

After 2/1/2 months, the plug from the AC adapter to the computer wore out and would not connect to computer to charge battery. Attempted to resolve via Dell Tech support, who stated that I damaged the cord and that's not covered by warranty. Attempted to get supervisor, person gave three different names in 30 seconds. Their supervisor stated I need to purchase new adapter, because I damaged the cord plugging into the computer for 2 1/2 months and that's not covered under warranty. All Dell support is now subcontracted around the world and they don't care about their customers. This will be the last Dell product I purchase.

So far so good. The config is good and the feel of the laptop is awesome.

Replaced with SSD . Now it has blasting speed Good

Bought on line Received quickly as promised. Set it up and finally got to the desktop attempted to load a disc in the DVD and it wouldn't play. Called the "Geek Squad" They were accommodating at first and did log on to the Dell to attempt to fix the problem BUT they couldn't then she said if I wanted to it fixed now I would need to be sent to a higher tech level and she said I would be charged $$ for this. Well a 1 day old computer under warranty and they want me to pay to fix. I had the fix... back to Best Buy Store. Best Buy does deserve 4 stars for customer service during this process but the Dell computer earns the 1 Star.

An average computer. Good price and good first months of using it. Then, several Dell restart requests, leaving no time to close in use applications, with consequent problems. Battery doesn't last too much (up to 3 hours using word, less than 2 if surfing on the net).

i got this laptop today i shocked to see that Processor speed is 2.4 GHZ not 3 GHZ ,when I asked customer service they are saying will be upto 3GHZ :( . Best buy team Please mention the same in same to avoid confusion

I am very happy with this purchase and the computer offers so much for the price that you pay. The only issue I have with the computer is the mouse pad. Other than that it has been great.

I just unpack my brand new laptop and did not work. When i turn it on, the screen shakes, and has small dots and dashes . I read many rewiews before choosing this laptop. It was a waste of time. I had great expectations on DELL and I am very disappointed. Awful choice I regret not having bought HP again.
