solid computer.

On the down side, even though on paper the processor speed and memory are better than any other computer I've owned, it is by far the slowest new computer that I've ever had. You get what you pay for. Pay more, unless it's a gift for someone who's time you want to waste. Having said that I suspect the real culprit here may not be the hardware but Windows 10, another boondoggle from Microsoft.

Good deal for basic laptop

I only had it a couple of days and started getting messages that it was overheating. I call the Geek Squad and they said it seems to have a hardware problem. I decided to take it back since it was brand new and did not want problems to begin with and I found out that it may have also been because the casing was plastic. Also it was a little slow. It was my fault for purchasing a cheaper computer. Best Buy was wonderful. I exchanged it for an Asus that had a metal casing and paid another $400.00. Best Buy and The Geek Squad were amazing and so helpful. I will always buy my computers and TV's at Best Buy..
