This is my second Laptop purchase from best Buy, the first one being on Black Friday 2015(Dell touch screen, windows 10, 6gb , 1TBHD, 15.6 inch). The reason why i come back is because of the deal. It looked more appropriate and competitive. But for me its not HP, Dell , Lenovo, Acer etc. It is BEST BUY for me. You are the brand and i trust you guys.

Although I'm usually a Mac person, I thought it would be a good idea to have at least one PC on hand for the devices I use (primarily Yamaha professional audio equipment) that prefer Windows based software. After reading the reviews, I chose this model Dell. The layout of the computer takes some getting use to as the track pad is offset to left. Definitely more favorable to the south paws among us! It's also unusually heavy. At first, the computer worked perfectly. I was able to use connect it to two different mixers, read and set software on the fly. However, within six weeks of purchasing it, the hard drive died. Six weeks. Because I didn't sign up for Best Buy's "extended warranty", the store refused to be of any assistance. Fortunately, the computer was/is under warranty with Dell. This led to three different hour long phone sessions where I was told to try to down load and install installation software (Dell charges $40 for rescue disks) before they finally admitted I have a bad hard drive. Dell has no service facility in Los Angeles. In order to get mine repaired, I'm going to have to wait for Dell to send me a return authorization with a box. Then I have to mail them the computer. I've been told turn around at that point is about a week. Remember, the computer only worked less then six weeks. It's been off line a little over a week now and the best I can hope for is getting an operating computer back in about two weeks - minus all the files and software I'd already installed. I can not recommend this computer.

I am pleased to be able to use WiFi with this computer. Still have to learn more about Microsoft 10 to be able to do more things though.
