The computer seems to run slower than I expected. I plan to take it in to the store to have someone look at it

NOT A BAD COMPUTER FOR A BEGINNER. I'M GETTING A LOT OF USE OUT OF IT.

I am and remain a Best Buy fan. These days I go there first for any electronics. I needed a new laptop as the last one I had for 7 years which I got from Best Buy only now is showing its age. After doing my home work I settled on this Dell. It seems to be more computer than I really need. Which is Great! Unfortunately after the date in which I could return it to the store for exchange it stopped recognizing the d drive. Hours of phone time with Dell has not fixed the issue. Currently I am waiting for a box to ship it off. Not happy about being without a laptop or sending it away with some of my data on it. For now don't buy this one. I'll let you know how this all works out.

Might be OK if you don't know much about computers, like Apple, it takes away your control and makes decisions for you. McAfee demands accepting a paid subscription disabling most ways of saying no. The touch-pad initially would turn off but now I have to tape a hard cover over it. Booting is slow. On the brighter side, the system is stable and rarely needs restarting.

Can't decide if it's the operating system or hardware. Purchased 3 different models of same unit. Returned 2 and finally was resigned to accept poor readability on screen. Frequently receive messages power cord is wrong but it's the one that came with it. Other brands in same price point are similar. Next time I'll pay more and get better value. Do not like Windows 10

Mouse section on the laptop is not easy to use, It is hard to click on the exact spot and to scroll.

I returned this item it is way too slow for what the specs say it is . Even after stripping everything out of it i could and turning as much off as possible it would still just barely play the face book game i purchased it for .

Overall I like the laptop. I use it for my online classes.

The laptop is slow and I have had to restart it many times to get programs to open and close!

It was good product in discounted rate however it has some cosmetic issue with the product.

Previously bought Dell gamer PC’s. They were good. Better be for the price I paid. We have Dell computers at work. Should have listened to IT people. This thing is so slow. I have tried to update latest fix for Spectre and Meltdown. After 16 attempts I stopped. Might be Microsoft, but this laptop is painfully slow.

The computer is ok but not thrilled with the keyboard.

I had purchased a Dell computer previously and thought their products were good. Not the case with the laptop I had to return the laptop due to a hardware problem with the screen. It would randomly flutter between screens and the tiles. Very strange, but not uncommon so I have learned. Now off the buy another laptop different brand.

Bought the Co outer for my sister and she loves it. She doesn't have a problem with it.

Haven't gotten real familiar yet. Pleased so far. Hope it lasts asking as our last one.

I purchased the Dell Inspiron laptopn on May 30th. I used it at a desk and kept it properly plugged in with no tension or issues with the charger. After 3 months he charger failed to charge and I was told it was an issue with the port. I sent it back to Dell and it was repaired. Having received a new iPad, I rarely used it. This past month the port failed again. Now Dell is telling me it is damaged, not covered under warranty and will cost $150 to repair what originally cost $319. If you are going to buy an inexpensive Dell laptop you would be wise to buy extended warranties. But in the end you will spend more than if you just bought a more expensive and better brand to start with. This laptop was never dropped. Placed flat on a desk and charged with no issues. The port going bad twice within a year indicates it is an issue with the laptop. I will never buy a Dell product again.

Not a lightning fast machine but meets my needs to balance checkbook and edit pictures

love its features and the durablity of the device.

I was very surprised in the poor quality of this computer. Overall feel is very cheap. I cannot even express my disappointment as to how slow it is. I took it back within a couple days and got a different computer for the same price and am so much happier with it.
