When I opened my supposedly new laptop it was used and damaged

It is my son,s first computer.He seems to be happy with it.

Error code: 142. Hard drive broke after 1 1/2 yrs.

Cheap and easy. No frills, just a good laptop for the money

Good performance, love brand but didnt like the keyboard.

Not as easily navigated as other computers I have onwed

I wouldn't recommend DELL even if they paid me to endorse them. Lets start off with this brick. After a month and half it stopped charging and recognizing the battery. I was moving at the time from state to state so I didnt contact DELL two months afterwards. This is what they told me: for 80 dollars we can check whats going on. I mean 80 bucks for a brick just bought two months prior? I bought a replacement battery and adapter and ran the BIOS. Guess what? it worked but DELL wouldnt recognize in desktop mode because they sold me a brick. Again, dont buy a DELL. I will definitely make sure the world know to : DUDE...YOU'RE NOT GETTING A DELL! Get a LENOVO!

Even though I have been using this PC for six months, the track pad was out of order. I think this PC is so cheap and too fragile. I hope I can have it fixed for free, but I don't know how to do that.

I am very disappointed in this computer. I did not know what I was buying. I asked the little boy who waited on me about operating instructions, etc. He said, "Play with it!" Well, I have played with it and it is w-a-y too touchy. Plus, it has exceeded my monthly usage and I had to add additional G's. I asked my provider if it was the new computer since I had never gone over with my 2008 Dell. They said that, "yes, that could happen with the new faster computer." I had a Dell and thought this one would be similar. It is not! I did not do research because I did not know which questions to ask. So far, I can only retrieve email. I am sorry I bought it!

I am having a irregular experience with this laptop, because since I buy it when I want to turn on and taping my password the computer start to go very slow and sometimes the computer going freeze and I need turn off The computer.

LAPTOP HAS NEVER WORKED SATISFACTORILY FOR ME, HAD TO SEND IT BACK ONCE, GEEK SQUAD COULDNT FIX IT, WENT WITHOUT A COMPUTOR FOR A MONTH WHICH CAUSED A BIG INCONVENIENCE AND STILL DOES NOT PERFORM WELL.

After suffering through 11 trips to BestBuy/Geek Squad for more poorly working laptop, this "old" Dell laptop was swapped for a new "new" Dell laptop. Although the personnel at the location were more than pleasant, they couldn't find what was wrong, thereby the reason for the swap. The "new" laptop is horrible. I've had it only two (yes, two!) weeks, and it is horrible...and has caused for a thoroughly frustrating experience! And now the GS is saying that they can't replicate the problems I'm experiencing!

After 3 months of very light home use the charge port broke and pushed up inside the computer housing. Best Buy geek squad said it was not covered under warranty and cost to fix would be at least $150 and 2 weeks down time.

I was giving a presentation and it stopped responding. I thought it went into hibernation. It did not. The drive just disappeared. Tried all the usual fixes to no avail. Brought it back and Geek Squad resolved the issue.

My Vaio laptop crashed, so I had to buy something . The person who helped us look thru the laptops in our price range was very helpful but you have to actually use it. That's when you want to throw it through the window !!
