It starts up quickly and was very easy to set up and personalize. What I don't care for is the cheap keyboard and the plastic casing seems flimsy. But so far, everything has worked perfectly.

It is easy for my kids to navigate, and my husband and I have enjoyed using it. The Microsoft apps on it have been a bit challenging for us, but overall we love the laptop.

Not as fast as I would hv expected it to be & Im really not digging windows 10 which I had on old computer. I use my iPad & iPhone like crazy so I'm trying a MacBook. Plus I called geek squad since free antivirus wouldn't load due to box hvg wrong address & told them it's slow for a brand new computer. They sd they tk threats etc off. Shouldn't a cleaned up computer not hv any threats on it. So still not as fast as I wanted. I was only reading news, checking email etc. It's a touch screen but every time you start to scroll it bounces. Ok if speed & bouncing don't bother you.

Posted .@Mike, We're sorry to hear that you had some issues with your laptop and you decided to return it. We do have a few steps to try if you experience slowness with a Dell computer in the future. It may not be so much related to threats on your device as much as it could be software that comes preloaded that you are not using. Try these steps in the future if you need to:
Delete temporary files and directories
1. Click Start, then in the search bar type "disk". Disk Cleanup should appear on the menu above the search box.
2. Run disk cleanup and eliminate unneeded temporary files (Search results, Internet Cache and other windows temp files you may no longer need)
3. Select files you want to delete then click OK to start the cleanup process. Uninstall applications you no longer use 1. Open the Programs and Features application in Control Panel. 2. Scan the list of applications installed for ones that you no longer use. 3. Highlight any application you no longer use and then click the uninstall button at the top of the list. Follow the prompts to uninstall.
4. Repeat for each application you want to uninstall.
5. Move large files and/or seldom used files to backup media (Photos, Music you seldom listen to, application downloads after the application has been installed etc.).
6. Empty the Recycle Bin.

Also ethernet connection stays well below the 100mbps. Other than those, good touchscreen laptop for the money.
