Applications load quickly. No delay on downloads. WiFi connection is strong. The mouse track and keyboard are responsive. The sound is crisp. It runs quietly and stays relatively cool. What I didn't expect is the display is touch screen. I love that. With an i3 core processor, 8 GB of RAM, TB of Hard-drive space, an Intel Graphics HD card, DVD burner, HDMI, Ethernet and 3 USB ports, I definitely received my money's worth. I would recommend this laptop to both my family and friends

I bought this laptop Dell Inspiron 15R touch (only for home use - browse, chat, socialize, pay bills and bank, music and movies). I decided on this laptop because i read this is having on 4th gen Intel processor, usage of windows 8 on touch. This laptop has 4th gen Intel core i5 4200U, touchscreen, windows 8 and other usual stuff. I feel this is really good considering the price i.e. 299USD. I am slowly beginning to like Windows 8 and touchscreen is useful with this OS. The laptop is really a good deal . But couple of things that i am sort of only ok with are audio quality, screen resolution (currently 1366x768) and probably the webcam (it is only 0.9MP). They are still good but could have been better i felt.

My 9 year old daughter wanted a laptop for Christmas (despite having an iPad). The touchscreen is a great addition. She really loves it. Great, easy to use, affordable laptop!

this laptop by far is the best value for your dollar......maybe not the fastest, but for the price, you can't beat it.......and windows 10 is a dramatic improvement over 8.......no problems with the laptop, has worked very well for various applications, work, pictures, email, Skype, quickbooks, spreadsheets, etc......I did get a wireless mouse because the touchpad is just not efficient and quick enough for me.....

this laptop is by far the best bang for your buck. the features are comparable to machines that cost twice as much. and the performance is stellar. definitely recommended.

Got a great price and have other Dell laptops so seemed a no brainer. Not a big Win 10 fan but we'll see how it grows on me. Lots of memory and HD for this price point.

Came with Windows 10. Quite user friendly. Touch screen and touch pad scrolling features make this computer a pleasure to use. I3 processor quite responsive. Not as yet using this computer for any heavy duty processing, mainly web browsing, ms office activities, photos, and email. Cortana sometimes stalls out and needs a couple of re-tries. Overall, quite satisfied.

Bought as a gift for my daughter, so far seems to be fast and work really well. The touch screen works good and is not too sensitive. Got a good deal on Black Friday.

My kids download lots of apps and games, so the fact that it has lots of storage space is great. I love the touch screen and the fact that it can go into tablet mode.

I really did not know what to expect for the price (299 on BF) but This is a solid laptop. Screen looks and works great to touch. Set up was easy. Wish this would flip to a 2 and 1 but what do you expect for the price. I have a mac pro, but wanted a PC as well. Still has a disk drive which is nice. I use a Dell for work as well so I do have faith in their products, much better than my old Sony Vieo, but a little heavy. 1TB and 8G is a big plus as well.

Gave this to my son who is embarking on college He loves it, and the fact that it is touch screen was even more of a extra for him and for me the price was awesome.

This is a very light and sleek machine that boasts a nice amount of power with out having to give up storage and speed. Definitely a good value with this laptop!
