This is a pretty decent computer and very easy to set up. I personally am a fan of Dell computers and they have not let me down again. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is it feels like the battery is already losing the ability to hold charges. It's not really a big deal because there are always plugs nearby.

Easy to set up. Lightweight laptop that does exactly what i want it to do.

This Inspiron is far from the sleekest or lightest 15.6" laptop on the market. But the user needed a built-in CD-ROM, and so this was the best choice with that feature. So far, this has performed all tasks well, with few complaints. It's not a speed demon, so I will probably add an SSD at a later time.

I bought this on a whim because my classes required me to use Excel, and the Chromebook didn't convert the formulas over from the things I downloaded from the instructors. I got this because the only other thing we had was a desktop, and it's working great! It runs really smooth, and now that I've bought a mouse to go with it (touch pads aren't my deal), I love it a lot!

I originally wanted to get my kids an i7 processor but for the money my wife said our kids would like the touchscreen more than the power. We decided to go with these and I believe we made a good choice. The kids love the touchscreen ability and the i5 in this has the power they need for school work and games. Good value for the processor, memory and hdd size.

Purchased for my daughter. School work was causing her to compete with me for time on my gaming desktop. Couldn't have that so we felt it was time to get her own. Have only owned it for about a month but she loves it. Able to do papers and projects with ease all while listening to music.

This computer is HUGE and heavy, but that is just what we were looking for, so it is perfect. This works well for users who are not required to carry their computer around constantly (i.e. home and work). Very hard to find a laptop with a numeric keypad, so that is a nice feature if needed.

The laptop functions great, the touchscreen functions well too. The touchpad makes a clicking sound on press which gets annoying after awhile, but I got used to it. Battery life isn't all that great, 4 hours and the laptop is dead. Other than that, it's a great laptop for its price.

Great product Windows 10 is not as bad as first thought. Seems to run fast on this laptop

We couldn't bring ourselves to purchase an expensive gaming computer for our 8 year-old to play minecraft so we decided on this Dell hoping it would meet her expectations now and have the capacity to remain useful as she grows up. I'm writing this review 6 months after purchase and we are still very pleased with it's performance and durability.

Solid reliable laptop for a student, easy to use and lightweight

I bought this online for store pickup. The page said 24 to 48 hours to be ready but it was ready that same afternoon. Great service. The laptop is very light, although it looks like it can break easy but will see about that haha. It has several aplications that I have still not figure out how to use but it's just perfect for the price and my needs.
