The computer gets the job done but it can be slow at times. I do like the touch screen capabilities. It was a good computer for the price but I will probably spend a little more next time

Two things I don't like: the sensitivity of the touchpad (finally found how to adjust) and the black on black keys (I didn't understand why people complained that the keys aren't backlit -- now I do). Otherwise, it works well for me.

Im for the most part satisfied for the computer but i wish there was a different option for the insurance. After spending over $400 pretty sure i disnt want to pay 200 more dollars. Wished u could by insurance little at a time

What I need the laptop for is pretty limited, and I'm not at all techy, so I'm sure it can do a lot more than what I will ever use it for - but all in all it does what I need.

This was a purchase for my Mom. She wanted a new computer that was easy for her to use, not too expensive, and a good known name. This Dell was the answer. It also had a CD Drive that most new laptops do not have. She loves it because of all the above factors and it is mobile.

The Dell i3558 6Gb laptop was purchased as a flash sale deal and a great deal it was, at $150 off the regular price. The laptop is fast and supports all of the concurrent applications I and my wife need for my work-from-home job and her leisure time surfing. No complaints!

Laptop is performing very well. I needed it for training classes for my job at the daycare I work for. I'm also taking a few college classes since it's more easy to do at home. This way I can arrange my classes around my jobs. I'm really excited about furthering my career.

Still learning how to get the most out of my laptop. I updated from desktop to laptop also from vista to windows. Yes, I would purchase this again and recommend this to someone looking to purchase a new computer.

Bought as Christmas gift for 12 year old. Seems to be working well after three weeks. No wifi or other minor issues. It's being mostly used for mine craft gaming & google chrome apps for 6th grade. No complaints.

Laptop great, however, trying to learn everything on this new laptop & also with Windows 10. Was using a 13 year old dell desk top with XP which isnt supported any more. Love the dell brand, never had a problem. Best Buy had the best price on line for this laptop.

I really am impressed with the easy setup on this laptop. I have worked on many laptops and this is the best one I've seen. Everything just worked. I would recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a mid-sized laptop. The 1 terrabyte hard drive is fabulous.

Fabulous laptop. Have had for over 3 years now, and it's been through a lot--A lot of travel, a lot of kids, and a lot of negligence for keeping it cleaned out, updated, etc. One of the best I've had yet!

Purchased as a Christmas gift. Touch screen works decent. Not too heavy. Only complaint is the non separated touch pad buttons. And for the price you would be hard pressed to find a better beginner laptop.

I purchased this laptop for my son for Christmas and he really enjoys using it. The sales associate was very helpful in directing me to the right laptop that is good for a student. Good for gaming too

Good laptop, operating system Windows 10, is not my favorite. I am still finding issue with transferring from my old laptop and still haven't found compatible software for my activity tracker.

This is a great computer for the kids to do their school work. Has plenty of power for surfing the web as well.

The only problem so far is that on the numeric key pad and for the disc drive there is no light. The hard disc drive does not light up when it is processing and only briefly when turning it on. It is hard to tell if your desktop is fully loaded.

my MacBook Pro was a great portable purpose computer. when the logic board crashed I needed an updated non mobile replacement. the staff at best buy walked me through my option s and I purchased the minimac. I'm very satisfied with this choice.

This has been a nice computer and capable of doing what I have needed it for. I use it for work and home. Only complaint is the number lock doesn't really lock. Other than that, so far so good

This laptop is okay for basic use, such as reading email but not for composing email. It's great for browsing the internet, but as soon as it's used for typing, the cursor becomes quirky. It's even worse when typing a document or entering data on a spreadsheet when the cursor jumps and leaps all over the place! The keyboard and touchscreen have the same quirky sensitivity. I'm getting more used to them now but still have to fix typos that appear randomly in the middle of words. I'd try it before buying another one.
