Had it for almost a week and gets almost 6 hours of battery use per charge. Great touch screen response.

Just received last night and had some bugs initially ( track pad wouldn't scroll, mouse randomly freezing etc.) but after some lengthy updates everything seems to be working smoothly. Webpages and apps load quickly, touchscreen is very responsive and smooth. Build quality compared to the ASUS I just returned is very good it should last. I mainly bought this for browsing the web and some multitasking so I didn't need anything too crazy. Speakers are very good and if you use headphones? FUGETABOUTIT I can go up to about 12-20 comfortably any higher and i'd blow my ears out The bad- I will agree compared to my little Lenovo the trackpad needs some work but I think itt can be fixed with some fine tuning in the settings plus once it breaks in some more it should work better. Battery life- the standard 4 hours is what you should expect to get out of this battery, not terrible but (imo) not that great. You'd think after all this time and advancements with pcs, laptops and smartphones they could build a battery that lasts 12 hours? Anyway not a huge deal as I let mine plugged in most of the time and it's removable :-). Haven't tested the usb ports for charging a device or anything yet. When closed the lid does flex like someone pointed out for a lower end but similar model dell, again not a huge deal as I don't just randomly push on it or set weights on my laptop :-) If you're looking for something fast and affordable this one is a good choice. Its all about how much you want to spend. Other brands will be better quality but for me it's solid enough considering what I paid. I hope this helps someone out there make an informed decision .

Please be aware, according to specs section, it says this is a 5th gen core i5 processor. Dell's own site is already moving the Inspiron line to the 7th gen core series. The price here may be attractive; just know what you're buying.

I brought this laptop recently, it is good product for the price tag. It works so well, it is so faster. The only thing is if the laptop had keyboard lights that would have made me fully satisfied.

Product quality is very good and no issue found since 4 years.

Great laptop. Worked fast and efficiently, that is until it short-circuited and caused me to have to get a new one. Still, it worked way better than the new one I replaced it with.

This laptop has some of the best config available in market for the listed price. Its a performace workshorse. Liked the machine.

I got this laptop in the black Friday discount for my brother to use it in his school stuff and he loves it. It is fast and pretty decent. It doesn't look fancy or thin like the other computers but he really doesn't care. The price was great, performance is very good and it has a CD reader.

I was confused before getting the Laptop...How it's possible with this price..AND Yes...It doesn't make me frustrate.Which make me happy is the speed.Best deal for this Black Friday.

Bought 2 - one for me and one for my wife to replace older laptops. Speed is ok with i5 processor. Screen is nice but is a little flimsy when open so you must be careful if carrying it while open. Would be better with SSD drive but at the price paid I can't complain.

Everything works perfectly. Portable computer that fulfills all my needs on the road. Storage, disk read/write and HDMI playback on the big screen. Photo manipulation and staying connected with my home satellite service gives me everything I need.

After having returned two laptops from Amazon, I was initially skeptical to purchase another laptop online. Still I decided to give a shot, and luckily, I have an excellent working laptop with me this time. Thanks to Best Buy!! Having owned an SSD previously, I feel the booting times for this laptop is very slow ( no offence, and no comparison ); and also, just for this one time, my mouse pointer was stuck/hanged when I booted up the laptop for the second time (it just wouldn't move)-but the issue was solved when I restarted the system and is perfect since then. rest assured, this is a perfect DELL laptop which I'll be using for some programming, school stuff, light gaming, browsing etc. and for $350 I'm just loving it!!!

Writing the review after 5 years of use. I am still using the laptop. Had used this for work Ona daily basis during pandemic. One of the best laptop. Additionally the touch response is very good.

I purchased this with the early black Friday special price. We needed a new laptop, and the price for a great laptop was too good to pass up! The Intel Core i5 processor is a plus, even though it's last years chip. I disabled the touchscreen to get a bit more battery life. I'm extremely happy with this Dell laptop, as well as the amazing price, thanks Best Buy!!!

This computer is exactly what I was looking for, a great price for the power. It is perfect for browsing the internet, working in work and doing minor photo work.

I purchased this laptop for my highschooler. He needed his own computer to do research and homework. He likes the speed and memory it has. I'm not that tech savy so I did lots of reasearch and read reviews. The Dell Inspirion had great reviews and was on sale. It seemed perfect for him. Wish I had bought one for me as well!

Purchased this several years ago and we are still using it. It’s a little slow but you’ve gotta expect this at this price point but the quality is there.

This is a nice laptop at a reasonable price (discounted price on thanks giving 349.99). I bought this during the sale at this price and quite satisfied with my purchase.

Good product at a good price. But still on 5th generation i5. Good only for the beginners. Speed okay but sometimes gets hung.
