Its a nice laptop, but its slow and also you might better lap

Let's get this out of the way. This is not a $1,200 Ultrabook nor is it expected to be. It's a $400 budget laptop with a good resolution touch screen, an i5 processor, 8 gigs of memory, a surprisingly good touch pad, and the full terabyte hard drive, which makes for a pretty good mix. Performance is good to really really good and battery life is similarly good to really really good. The screen is more than good enough for most day to day tasks and moderate youtube viewing, but comes up short for watching HD movies, no surprises there. The only gripe I have about this laptop is the keyboard, particularly the space bar. I've never had so many typing errors, all because of a lack of spaces, but c'est la vie. If needed, I would buy it again.

Purchased 12/16. Ran just fine for first 13 months!? Now, the battery will not charge anymore. Replaced battery and charger, to no avail. Can’t update BiOS, w/o battery health!?!! Unfortunately switched to a MAC... problem solved!

I bought this to replace an older Latitude. The laptop is OK overall, however the display is just not bright enough to use near a window on a sunny day and the glare is very bad. I had no such issues with my Latitude. I ended up returning this.

The computer is very slow to open a browser, and CPU usage is very high ranging from 36 to 42% just having a website running. I purchased 2, and returned one, just keeping one since I spent lot of time to put software on it.

Probably was just a "lemon", but every time I booted it up it would run for about 5 minutes and then freeze up. After numerous attempts to revive it I decided to return it, and was very happy with Best Buy's return process.

Delivered with an extra screw rattling around on the interior. Took it in to GeekSquad to have removed and after they opened it up the keyboard never sat properly in the laptop (squeaked and rattled) so I had to return it.

Buyer beware! Easily the worst laptop we've ever purchased and we did our research so it's very disappointing. Within a month, the battery would no longer charge, we had to send it to the service center and did not get it back for 2 weeks and all that was replaced was the power cord. The cord had to be replaced 2 additional times, before we were even able to get a new battery from Dell. The keyboard went out at about 6 months and we had to purchase and are now using a wireless keyboard to even use the laptop. Now, 10 months in, we are having problems with charging the computer again.

Very good laptop for the money. My son like touch screen so I bought it. But only thing is not able to connect to monitor. Hope i can find some solution for that
