I am very happy with this Dell laptop that I purchased on black Friday. I did purchase a wireless mouse since I really don't like not having a thumb wheel for scrolling. The battery seems adequate and the solid state drive makes this a fast operating computer. I would definitely recommend this laptop for regular users.

I have bought Dell laptops in the past and had no issues. However, this laptop had a lot of glitches and it seem like I was calling CS more. I will buy again because I like the screen size and it was at a good price.

Did not realize computer already had virus protector and put another virus protector; thus ended up with no protection and new computer became full of viruses . Had to buy clean-up service and have spent many hours getting computer back in shape.

I needed a simple laptop for browsing, Netflix, and basic college functions. This was more than enough. I will say there is a slight display glitch where the screen may flicker once in a while, but nothing major.

This computer has some really good specs that well delivers everyday computing ( Netflix, music , internet shopping), and above. The SSD makes many tasks much faster. The picture online makes the computer look like it has an optical drive for CDs but it don't, I will get a usb cd drive if need over all good computer

This laptop is very good at surfing the web, and browser games. However even a game like VampYr can't be played on lowest settings without a ton of lag. Not good for hardcore gaming, but games like minecraft run well with a lot of mods.

It's a little annoying you have to remove all the McAfee bloatware that's installed, disable the obnoxious games, etc. That's typical for most PCs that come with windows preinstalled nowadays though. Other than that it's a nice laptop

Really nice and fast laptop fofor day to day activities. I was disappointed it did not have a DVD player though and it can not easily be upgraded to get one. Its ram however is nice because you only need to buy one stick to upgrade.

This laptop is a great value at its price point. Only downside is the touchpad and the upgradability. In order to add another stick of ram, ssd, and/or hdd you need unscrew the back plate and remove and disconnect the keyboard.

This is a great laptop for basic work. The solid state drive and 8 GB of memory are a great combination for the price. Once you get past the boot-up time (which is now lengthy for most Dell's and HP's) it hums right along. My suggestion is to take your time with the initial set-up, it pays off.

The Dell Inspiron 15.6 is a highly functional computer that meets all the needs of a moderate non-gaming user. I am using it for basic Microsoft Office applications, light web browsing, and Java programming. To date, my laptop is 8 months old and still running like a brand new one.

All the specs looked good but I was a little disappointed to discover the laptop had no cd/dvd reader or writer. A external USB one is a available but a internal one would have been nice. Less cables and power supply hassle.

I haven't always been very pro on Dell, but this device performs well. The only thing that dropped the one str is the responsiveness of the keys. The one in the store seemed fine... maybe it just needs to work in a bit.

Have only used the computer for a day, but it starts lightning fast and is a good size and weight. I was worried about getting a computer this close to the Holidays (price wise), but I feel it was a good deal. No problems.

Good middle of the road laptop for the common user. 8 gig RAM is commendable, drive is acceptable, I5 processor is good, and touch screen is a bonus. So for light to medium work/student usage, the price is exceptional
