Does exactly what I wanted. Easy to use and nice display. Defiantly a great upgrade. For the price I couldn’t ask for better. I recommend!! Dell is a good brand option. We have switched all our laptops at work and home to dell and couldn’t be happier!

I purchased this Dell laptop as an early Black Friday doorbuster deal for $349.99. This is great laptop for the price. The only con is that it comes with Microsoft's Windows S-Mode. After disabling S-Mode you can download chrome and other programs.

Good laptop. But the touch screen is a little sensitive . . . for my taste. Don't know if that can be adjusted in the settings. Had a Devil of a time trying to get up and running as this thing was locked down to Windows store or something. Finally figured out how to disable all of that so I had control over my laptop and setting it up. Has very few USB Type A ports. Had to buy a hub to support all the connections I need. The ethernet port is a big disappoint. The ethernet cable does not lock in place. It keeps popping out when I am using this as a true laptop--on the go. If on my desk the cable stays put of course. Just something to note depending upon your usage/needs I guess. Otherwise this is a good quality laptop that you would expect from Dell.

I bought this computer because of the faster start up and accessing programs. I am use to back-lit keyboards which this doesn't have. It does have touch screen and the i5 processor so I am happy and I can't complain about the $350 price tag.

The laptop spec said HD display but the display lacked sharpness and was not HD. The speed and performance is good but if you want HD display then this is not good fit for you. If display is not a problem then this laptop is a value for money!

Laptop works great. Wife is using it for work for a while, but within a year the storage got full, and then it was a pain in the behind to update Windows. Offloading files regularly was inconvenient. Great laptop for kids though.

Got this laptop for my wife to replace one she has had for about 8 years. The Dell was very easy to set up and add virus protection and add microsoft office. she is very happy with the larger screen and the laptops overall function

Wife loves to use the touchscreen. Better than having a tablet. With a touchscreen laptop you can use it as a laptop or touching the screen. GrandKids love to use the touchscreen ... especially since they can't read or type yet.

Its a fast processor and great screen. Very easy to use and touch screen is convenient as well. The fan being directly on the bottom can cause overheating rather easily so make sure you get a laptop elevation or coolong pad.

I had windows 7 but it has been discontinued and now use windows 10. I bought a Dell, not too expensive, and for a person like me who doesn't use everything that comes with it, it is just right. It is a great computer and easy to use.

If you’re looking for just another laptop to add to your collection and you’re not going to do much of gaming or use heavy software then this might be your best bet! You can however install software tools and it will still work like a gem!

Bought this computer for my grandson who just entered the eighth grade this year. Very easy to set up and meets his needs for reports and research. Probably buy another one for my other grandson who is about to enter 7th grade next year.

I purchased this laptop a year ago for $300. The build quality is not the best but solid as an entry level laptop. It is quiet and the performance is good enough as a daily computer shared by family members.

Was looking for a laptop for my 9 year old son that he could do school work on, as well as play games and stream videos. With 8GB of memory and a 256SSD, this laptop has far exceeded my expectations, especially for what I paid for it.

No problems with this laptop so far. It's fast so happy about that. Screen quality is okay, not great. Not overly loud. It doesn't have a high quality feel/build to it but it's okay and seems like a good deal for the price paid.

Her old Laptop was balking at the simplest of tasks... it was time. This one gives her touch screen, another way of interfacing, but comes with Win10, which is a big change. We are hoping for the best, as she is 90 years old.

When hubby's laptop died, we went straight to Best Buy because we knew we could find a replacement without breaking the bank. The salesman found us just what we were looking for. We were in and out of there in 12 minutes... Very happy!

I purchased this laptop to replace the laptop so use for work and it has performed great. I did follow another customer’s suggestion about adjusting the Windows setting for the safe mode and did not have any problems loading programs.

Bought this one at Christmas for My Husband to replace his Toshiba. Easy set-up has the solid state Drive. I bought the same one for my self in July he liked it and so did my son. He bought one for his wife this Christmas too.

I purchased a number of laptops for black friday. Each was 4-8gig of ram, and 256 gif of solid state memory. Tried various computers from Lenovo to HP until finally finding this one. While each of the others was sluggish, this one was incredibly fast to boot up and load. I didn't upload much software onto the computer, so can't speak to its performance when bloated with software, but out of the box it was very speedy, and picture was clear. Only thing I wish was different was that it had a light up keyboard. As for value, note that I got this as an open-box item for just $311 (which I believe is drastically under priced as I believe it retails for closer to $599), so the price certainly factored into my review.
