Good buy and at Black Friday prices even better

Cheap laptop, good value

It is very cheap and while the processor and internal specs are actually very decent, the body and screen are clearly budget. I actually just have this connected to my TV and use it as a living room computer, and its thoroughly decent for that use.

The Dell was a perfect fit the only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because it doesn’t come with a wordprocessing program you have to buy MS window separately.

Trying to be optimistic, but haven’t used much yet

It met the requirements for the price. While still testing the equipment, the power went out. I got a message that the battery was draining because it wasn’t connecting. I checked the cords everything was fine, laptop has never been moved. I called geek squad, they didn’t know. I took the computer to geek squad, the message disappeared. It started again and they told me the power cord was bad. I bought the computer a little more than a month ago and they said it is out of warranty. It isn’t covered, because it appears you damaged the cord. They said they could send it out to ensure it isn’t more than the cord. It will be gone for a few weeks. So frustrating and ridiculous!! Wouldn’t buy this again, now I am afraid constantly about losing my job and stressed!

If you'd like to find out why your plug may not be recognized, here are a few common issues:
We'd recommend checking the following causes of possible AC Adapter Error Messages:
1. Are you using a 3rd party or is a non-Dell branded AC adapter is connected to the PC or docking station?
2. Are you using an AC adapter with a lower wattage?
3. Is the AC adapter is not fully connected to the PC?
4. Check to see if the wall power cord is not fully connected to the AC adapter. 5. The AC adapter or PC's AC adapter port could be damaged. 6. The AC adapter is not recognized in BIOS (System Setup). You can read the full article here: http://dell.to/2xQTan2.
