Bought this computer as a gift for my mom and she loves it. Came pre-installed with Windows S mode, it did take me a bit to figure out how to switch to Windows 10 but it wasn't too bad. I would recommend changing the saturation as it was a bit dull at first. But it is a great computer for the price.

Bought during Black Friday for a steep discount. Couldn’t believe the value. That is until I realized that due to Dell’s convoluted product hierarchy and subsequent confusion with Best Buy’s own listing, this DOES NOT have a backlit keyboard. An unfortunate dealbreaker so I returned it immediately.

Product was ready to use right out of the box. Good start up product for anything you may need for educational purposes. Product comes in windows S mode, which limits your ability to downloads many apps or softwares, but you can simply exit out of this windows version to use freely as expected.

I gave it as a gift to my sister and this is a workhorse! Loads up quickly and fast. Since she is carrying this from one to point another, it was important that she got a sturdy yet dependable pc to use while doing clinicals. With the price, one cannot go wrong in buying this unit.

Works great for what I need it for, which is for school mainly. Also worked for programming my Logitech remote. Memory is upgradable up to 16 gig and sad is as well after doing some research. Windows S mode can be put into regular mode with a quick download, super easy. Start up is quick too!

I was looking for an laptop with SSD and intel processor. This is the best deal I have seen. By default it comes in Windows S mode. It was a quick and easy to register the OS and enabling full version of Windows. The build quality looks solid. It’s a good product for students and beginners.

1st its has been a while since I bought a laptop but do like this one. I do some photography so would recommend more memory if your doing anything like that or more. Still get use to the touch screen, I don't think that's a big sell point. that it feel free to ask any questions.

With COVID-19 driving the increased use of work from home and meet from home, the camera, speakers, microphone, display, etc have been high quality and worked without a hitch. I have one, bought one for an elderly friend, and recommended my neighbor buy the same. A solid laptop!

I haven’t use it too much yet, but I recommend to read the other reviews, where they help you out how to remove the windows 10-S and start using windows 10 Home version, but you have to have a product key to use longer, still just a try out period, so far, is been working for what I need.

Huge screen and ample power to get kids through school. Elementary through university, it can handle all Office software and even light programming and database admin work. If you are not using it for more than daily surfing and media consumption, this will be adequate for years to come.

I purchased this item for my teenage son for Christmas. Needless to say he loved it. He has used it almost every day since he got it. It also came in handy when he had to use it for remote/virtual learning. It's a great device. I got it on sale which was even better!

Bought this laptop for my wife and happy that I purchased it. Pros: Good processor, ram and SSD Drive. Screen is very nice as well Cons: No backlit keyboard, case is all plastic and feels cheep. Would I purchase this laptop again: Yes I wish I bought two more when it was on sale.

Bought this as a Black Friday available early deal for $350. Nice laptop with an SSD drive. Perfect for low demanding tasks like MS Office apps and web surfing. Decent battery life and recharge time. Nice display. The casing is not as hefty as more pricey models but it's adequate.

Not sure what's going on with this. My last dell computer was great, I specifically looked for another one when I bought this a few weeks ago. Taking it back or calling dell. I will say the 5g is fast I love that about it.

Bought this to replace an HP who's battery died and then started to do strange things with the replacement. So far this laptop has been doing exactly what it was bought for. No issues really to speak of. The SSD is a nice touch making boot up much faster than the old laptop.

I bought the Dell Inspiron 15.6" laptop for my grandson to use for school. He used it but one of the keys came off and sadly zi did'nt get the extended warranty. I'm going to call and see if Best Buy can fix it. Hoping they will.

I have to give it to Windows, they are really "pushing" you to use their own app store. I had the hardest time to get a game downloaded for my son. Had to change the turn off a feature in the operating system to make it so that I could download games outside of their store.

To be clear this isn't a powerful gaming or visual editing rig. That said its a capable for a net browser, casual games, and general PC related tasks. I would recommend for the above purposes. Good idea for a student, kids in general or a non business endeavor.

I bought this laptop for my daughter so she could use it for online classes in school and for homework. It’s been a great laptop for her (she’s a junior in high school) and even watches movies on it occasionally. As advertised and does what she needs it to do with ease.
