Overall, for the price it is on sale, it is a fairly good value. However, in terms of function it feels rather slow. Even after I had run disk cleanup, even when it was fresh out of the box, it still struggles to perform tasks at reasonable speeds.

Seems like a great deal for the price. This is a Christmas present, so we haven't opened it yet, but for the Blackfriday price I paid, I have yet to see anything that is as good as this. Touch screen and 2TB!

Not bad for an entry level touch screen laptop for my 13 yr old. Seems to take a long time loading programs, along with my Dell all in one. Next time, I will consider another brand. Good value for the price.

Perfect entry school system for my kid. A little more memory would be nice but a good system with sufficient specs for virtually all school stuff! Keys feel a little flimsy but for the price, it is great!

I was concerned about speed and after reading reviews had the geek squad remove all the junk before I took it home. Speed has been OK overall. A few times a bit slow, but not debilitating. So far so good.

This is my first computer with a touch screen. Thought it was gimmicky before buying it but now I really like it! This computer is perfect if you just need a computer for web browsing and word processing.

I bought this because a netbook did not meet my needs for my huge family tree, which was the only program I installed. I bought this because it had a large hard drive and it had a DVD device. I wanted to be able to sit in my recliner and use it there. It doesn't seem to weigh much more than my netbook. The price was better than anyplace else I looked.

I had read some reviews that talked about the computer being slow. So far, I have not experienced these issues. It might be working slowly for others because of what programs they are running. I have only used the internet and a photo editing program on it to date, but those have worked just fine and at a speed I would expect for a device with 8GB Ram

This is a slightly bulky laptop, which is not a surprise as that matches the picture and weight details. The looks are good, slightly outdated for a modern version of a laptop. I got this during pre blackfriday period and the pricing was really good for a i5 and 8GB config. I was skeptical about the hard disk from the beginning and eventually that turned out to be the reason for me to return this - noisy from the start and even fan got turned on even with no apps running. If you are looking for a very basic laptop and willing to put up with the HDD noise, this is a good one.

We have had good luck with Dell computers in the past. This particular model with the built in CD/DVD drive and numbers pad in the key board, along with a good processor and 2 TB memory for the price brings a lot of value. It will be easy to travel with and take to meetings. The only thing that would be better is if it had a solid state hard drive.

Very fast computer, great screen clarity and lots of storage!

I got it for 350$+tax during black friday. Not the latest config (would have wanted an SSD) but since I was buying for someone, I didn't protest. But it comes LOADED, and it's dell, so it's good !
