Great Budget Laptop

Easy set up

mediocre laptop for the money

Nope, I should have paid attention to the size. This is over 15" and huge. The keyboard was loud - two others near me in the library were typing but I could only hear my keyboard. Set up took an hour. And even though I selected PST, it marked my time as one hour ahead. Font was huge and I feel for the screen size, it should be able to be smaller. It would boot rather fast, 1-2 minutes, compared to other reviews. I liked having the ability to slip in a CD or DVD, but I rarely use that drive on my laptop for home use. USB drives and the internet fill that gap pretty well. I returned it for a small, 11.6" Lenovo Thinkpad and I like it much more so far. Set up for that was only 15 minutes or so and it nailed it for PST. I don't need the touch screen, don't need the DVD/CD drive (I can burn music at home to my main laptop), I just want the laptop for word processing work at school.
