This laptop is best for students. It has in built 2TB hard disk which is really cool. I bought this for my brother and he feels very comfortable using it.

This laptop has all features anyone’s looking for the display. It would have better if HP had put in 1080P display But for the price I’m not complaining.

Bad reviews is people who don't want to take the time to do updates. Fresh out the box I had to do updates for awhile. But afterwards didn't have any issues with it being slow. Only complaint is for the mouse. Should have the 2 separate buttons to click instead of a solid pad.

I went to Best Buy for this computer for my daughter. She review a few of them and end up picking this one. This will do everything she needs for work.

Bought for college senior daughter in prep for online grad school. Seems good so far. Much better than previous laptop and the 2 tb hard drive is great.

The laptop was received on time and packaged well. So far it has worked well but did come preloaded with too much stuff, which is why I gave it 4 stars.

I purchased this laptop on Black Friday for my Son. I will be giving it to him on Christmas. I use a Dell computer at work and have never had an issue.

No issues out of the box. Minimual use so far. Dell background programs slow it down tremendously. I will be removing some programs but so far so good.

Really love the touchscreen. Works well for me, though I don't do anything super processor intensive. Had an issue with the screen flickering and sometimes not working at all, Dell warranty covered replacing it. Fairly simple, but painful process cause they reset it to factory when it wasn't necessary, very frustrating. Lost a lot of data.

I have used the computer for a little over a week. It’s a good computer but if speed is your need this will not work. I was shocked at how slow it is.

I like the computer. It was a replacement for me. Everything transfered seemlessly. My only regret was after I purchased this system on line, four days later, Best Buy offered $50 off any Microsoft software. I would have taken advantage of that since I purchased Office 2016.

It lasted and worked well for 10 years. I bought an apple 'MacBook Air and it had problems from the beginning and still has updates to try to fix it.

I got this strictly for online courses and it works fine for that purpose. Negative is the number of updat s requires before you can begin using it.

Admittedly it’s slow until you clean up the mChine yourself. Several useless apps are included. Got it on a Black Friday price and made it worth it.

There are notable differences between the 7th and 8th generation i5 processors so if you want more cores, look for a brand new model with the 8th generation chip. But that would probably set you back $100+ more than this model that is way more than adequate for basic uses.

Love the touch screen but not good if you want to play computer games

I have only had it for one week but so far it is working fine. I got a request from the Geek squad to load a program but I am not sure how to do it.

While searching for a backup computer, my computer friend provided me specs on what was needed for work. This computer surpassed expectations and was highly recommended by my computer guy. It was an awesome deal, runs like a champ and may just be used as my main computer.
