Great for College Students
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great laptop, and works extremely well. I have just average usage demands for typing papers, emails, high internet use. However, the battery can sometimes need recharged in the middle of the day. But that could be due to my high demand and other settings.

Great 2 in 1 for a great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a new laptop to replace my 12-year-old Dell laptop. Employees at the store were super helpful and made sure I got exactly what I needed and nothing more. I love that I can use this as a laptop and a tablet. The price was within my budget and I feel I got a great deal.

good touch screen laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good service. The first salesman didn't explain in a way best for me to understand. But the second salesman was really good at communicating and explaining the product in an easy way for me to understand. He was really nice and helped me make a good purchase.

Very good for a laptop upgrade.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did not get several items I had specified for the computer. That is not as bad as it sounds, since I was given assurances that I will get those things when I am able to take it back to the Best Buy store. I have no bad feelings about this. I trust the person with whom I discussed his matter.

Yes, it's a Dell.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Finally decided to sell my wife's laptop of 3 years and surprise her with something new. To be honest buying a Dell was the last thing on my mind. Planned on getting the wife something cheap and inexpensive, like a good husband. Until I saw the particular advertised model sitting in the "open box" table, 2 of them to be exact. Red Flag. My wife does a lot of nursing work and college work religiously. Her old laptop would load like (insert slow joke here). Most of her work is at night so back lit keys is a must. She is always on the go so light and sleek will help. Oh and something fast! To be honest HP/Lenovo were my first go to's for a laptop, but paying $900 for something my wife uses for school/work was a little ridiculous. Don't get me wrong they're good laptops but all her needs for her new laptop were not fitting the price. I was going to settle for an HP Until I saw this Dell priced for 200 dollars less. I have ALWAYS hated Dell, I always took them as the "poor mans" laptop. They were always made poorly and didn't last. When I had first seen the product I was immediately drawn to it's slick look. Then saw it was a Dell. I hesitated to read the features but gave it another look and found It's sleek and light body was perfect. Back lit keys was a good feature, and it had a SSD. Wow, Dell put a SSD in there, impressive. Paired with a i3 and 8GB of ram only made the product sound more appealing and less like a Dell. All for $649, it was too goo to be true. That's not all either, bells and whistle galore with this thing! It's a touch screen too and the screen flips back to be a tablet. Much banging for the buck on this one. Now some bad things but not deal breakers. SSD is 128GB, that is the curse of a Dell I suppose. The price is right but at the cost of storage. This is a work laptop period. With only 70GB of free space after the OS taking its share, it isn't much. No dedicated graphics, so strictly typing and streaming, no games i would say unless they are old or minimal. No optical drive but that's going to be in a museum soon anyways. No LAN port, even my old sleek book had one. It will require more then just a finger to open the lid. It's shut pretty tight. Magnets are a little strong. I walked out with my purchase and realized something. "Did I just buy a Dell?". Disbelief until I arrived home and open the product. I was stunned! The load time actually was fast! Set up was a breeze and the video looked good enough to even watch Netflix in HD on here! That i3 can really process quite a bit. The battery life is about 7 hours with basic use, and keystroke feed back is fair for the most part. Touch pad is about right. Perfect for work/research and streaming. If you use it for just that and nothing else then your all set my friend. In the end, it's a hard bargain on the grounds that it's a Dell. After a couple of hours of toying with it and my wife writing a paper for class. and me writing this review. I can honestly say I would recommend this Dell. It doesn't take a genius to know this is a good laptop. The other reviewers have also stated it's proven worthiness with praise and recognition. It's worth every penny. Don't let the reviews convince you, go see it for yourself.

Terrific laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went to Best Buy planning to buy a different Dell laptop. But when I saw this model that had a touch screen as well as SSD I chose this one and I'm so happy that I did. I have experienced a few glitches but I'm hoping they are temporary.

Reliable and light for the cost
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this Dell Inspiron for my son and it has served him well through high school and into the military. I highly recommend Dell products as over the years they have proved themselves over again in some of the harshest environments.

FEW OF THE BEST OUT THERE
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not only is this a super sleek laptop, but it is so convenient and perfect for those who want the 'complete package.' The fact that this is not only a standing laptop but also a convertible to a tablet is completely worth the money!

with some things the wording on the sceen is small
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In most things it is very handy and works well. However in some programs the wording on the screen is very small and they cannot be resized. otherwise it has worked well. I find Cortana irritating always bugging me.

Good laptop for basic usage
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a good laptop for basic usage. I'm not a big fan of the material on the top of the laptop as it catches dust easily. I haven't had any issues with it so far, and I've been using it for a few months now.
