I like the versatility of it and the backlit keyboard. After about a week, It started displaying messages saying "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart.." and "It looks like windows didn't load correctly" and "Alert! Your AC power adapter watttage and type could not be determined." My biggest issue was with the Geek Squad employee who "helped" me by telling me to return my laptop and purchase a brand new one. The one he ordered for me didn't actually exist, so I was forced to leave with a best buy giftcard. Yes, I went in seeking a repair on my laptop and left empty-handed because of this employee.

I wuold recomend the dell laptop to all my friends

The computer does not stay connected to the home WiFi. Drops connection every 10 minutes and won't reconnect. Other devices in house have no issue. Have updated the drivers but problem still exists.

I have had this laptop for a week now. It very good but not great. The processor is adequate for everyday multitasking. Start ups are very fast and it is quiet. The SSD drive helps for sure with that and also saves on battery life. It seems to be well built and is light weight. Videos look clear and crisp for a middle of the road laptop. Sound quality is decent. It has a few drawbacks however. I'm concerned with the small storage space or lack there of. I knew this going in with only 128g or 70g usable but know I am having second thoughts. If you don't need at lot of space for downloading movies and games then it should be fine especially if you utilize a cloud service. Also you can always upgrade later or just use an external drive but that can be a pain. The lighted keyboard is really nice but it is small and tight. Something you will have to adjust to if your use to using a larger keyboard like I am. I also did not notice when I bought it that it does not have numerical key pad to the right like a lot of keyboards and only offers the top numerical keys. This probably has to do with the size of the laptop at 13.3" I may return this one and look for something bigger with a 256g ssd and a core i5 for faster surfing and multitasking speeds. Price is ok but really this should be a bit cheaper for just an i3 and 128g ssd and smaller screen. I mean memory is cheap now with ssd. The price difference is like $30 between a 128g and 256g if you buy one off the shelf to install. Overall I like it for the most part just wish it had more memory and an I5. If it had those two improvements it would be worth every penny even with the small keyboard.

It was very good, I toon care of it well but then it broke down. It cannot be fixed anynore according to geek squad. The computer was showing "light codes"

Haven't used enough to give the Dell Inspiron a rating. Sometimes switches to other screen before I know it and have to figure out what did i do to cause the interruption

The computer was slow, but did the job. Only issues that caused me to return was the mouse. The mouse was delayed and sometimes would randomly do its own thing.

It takes some getting used to. Tutorials would be good or a DVD would be nice to learn how to use the operating system and other features...a UTube video...lol

Works fine but not for those who are technologically challenged. Accidental touches can take you places and one has no idea how. Getting back is a challenge.

The hard drive went out and had to be replaced. Now when ever the computer updates I get error messages

I am okay with the product. Only wish it has more Ram and a slightly better processor. To check emails and some basic function are okay

This laptop has been good enough to get school assignments done; however, it freezes on me, it will get stuck in tablet mode, it will let me click on things but wont load anything and it changes its settings on its own. Went back to Best Buy and they were of no help at all, they said "you should have purchased the extended warranty" yhea i would have if i knew the kind of mess they were selling me. Last time i make a big purchase from Best Buy.

I had to buy extra equipment to get hard wired in for my online/blended class. I use the laptop for school and its working well so far.

The 2 in 1 had a SSD hard drive and Dell's built in diagnostics kept telling me I did not have a hard drive. Clearly the diagnostics had not been updated for the new SSD drives. Dell's response was to turn off all diagnostics. After 3 days I started getting the blue screen of death so I immediately returned the laptop. Poor quality control.

I'm definitely a Mac guy, so this purchase was more about cost efficiency than performance. This computer has done its job.

Runs super hot all the time. Not very fast. Has problems staying connected to internet. Not a very big hard drive.

Seems to work all right, but after a little over a year of use the keyboard is starting to get worn down.
