I got this laptop because I was returning to college. At the beginning I was leaning toward getting one of the lower end laptops. Once I started going thru the quality of them this was the best choice especially for the price. Better quality when it comes to components, design and functionality. My pet peeve is a slow computer but this hasn't disappointed. So glad I chose to spend a little more.

Great laptop but battery life does suck. On a full charge with power settings set to maximum battery life savings I am only able to get 3.5 hours of use which is why i give this product 4 stars. I really hope that Dell can fix this with a software update. Does anyone else have this issues? The build quality on this laptop is really good for the price.

I got this computer for graduate school and it works pretty well. It's lightweight which is great when walking across campus with it in my backpack. The touch screen abilities works well and is useful as well. However, the battery life is terrible. Some classes last 3 hours each, and by the end of one class my computer is dead or almost dead. This is incredibly inconvenient if I have a class immediately after and literally have to pick my seats in class so that I am always next to an outlet. Now, it lasts approximately 2 hours before dying, even when fully charged. Do not get this laptop if you need to use it for extended periods of time.

After returning an ASUS I decided to get this Dell and so far it works great. Pros: Great battery life, fast when browsing the internet, fan is not too noisy, has all the plug in ports that I need, light weight. Cons My only complaints would be that the camera is not of the best quality and when I tried to use another microphone the laptop made a weird sound, which continued after I unplugged the mic.

Good laptop overall, the performance of the laptop is excellent, however, the one drawback of this laptop is the battery life, if you don't mind staying near an outlet, this is a great laptop for you. If you planning on depending on the battery, look elsewhere.

Thankfully, I don’t do graphics-intensive work or anything like that. I’m a writer and my tools are Microsoft Word, Google Chrome, and any keyboard that isn’t Apple’s Butterfly mess-of-an-invention. I tolerated the 2016 MacBook Pro until I couldn’t. A broken space bar and a keyboard replacement later, decided to switch back to Windows, mainly because there weren’t any Mac laptops that didn’t have that terrible keyboard. (The Older MacBook Air is available but its screen resolution is too... meh.) This Dell Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 is a great computer for my needs, at a reasonable price point. The screen has a lovely Full HD resolution, enough for my entertainment needs, and it gets bright enough. The keyboard isn’t the best out there but sure is more satisfying to use than the Butterfly keyboard. At least I know this one won’t break easily if dust gets inside (which is inevitably does). It’s lightweight and doesn’t add too much bulk to my backpack. The battery life is extra MEH but I’m okay with it. That’s the trade-off I guess for such a low price point.

Great Computer. I got this an open box-it was a display. Works amazing for school. Perfect size. Not to heavy. I gave it 4 stars as battery life is not as described even with power saving features, but this could be because it was a display. Don’t let that deter you away from it. It really is a great machine.

So far, so good. Cheaper than the Dell XPS laptop it replaces, but a bit heavier at comparable size. Keyboard has nice feel, but backlighting leaks out quite a bit from around keys, not just illuminating the letters. Overall, very happy with purchase, as I got a great deal at the BB clearance outlet.

I bought this for my high school daughter, knowing she'd rather have a Macbook. She says it's a million times better. Easy to use, loves the 2 in 1 features, especially the touch screen! Loved the sale price for such a great product... the extended warranty is where you get hit in the gut. Happy mom...haven't had a Dell in 5 years. Very reputable and reliable.
