||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.my Dell Laptop worked great for the first few days and then after a month it just crashed. after speaking to overseas tech support it was deemed that the crash occurred because of a Windows update. after 4 hours and buying extra warranty the issue was never resolved and they promised to ship a new laptop which was apparently delayed because the company did not have any in stock! extremely inept service and poor follow up . We are finally getting a full refund and getting that is a more twisted process then a pretzel!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would not recommend buying this laptop system, according to the Geek Squad Tech who worked on this told me that there was a known Dell issue that there was no fix for and advised me to return the system and get a different laptop. On his recommendation I bought a Lenovo Yoga and would recommend that system over this one. Maybe others have had good luck with their Dell, I did not!

On Thursday, the touch screen was having problems (lines going across the screen). The laptop was not dropped, no food or drink around it. I took it to Geek Squad, they kept it to fix. Got the call the next day, saying it was fixed. IT WASN'T FIXED. I ended up returning it. I will not buy another Dell.

It is been 15 months and the computer is on the fritz. Stay away from Dell and their "higher end" laptops. Dell support is a waste of time as well.

1. Run a Computer Diagnostic. To determine if your computer is experiencing a hardware problem, run the Dell Preboot System Assessment (PSA) Diagnostics. For information on how to run Diagnostics, and to determine the issue, refer to Dell Knowledge Base Article: http://dell.to/2iaiujA.
2. Check Safe Mode for Symptoms. To boot into safe mode, please follow the instructions below:
1) Start the computer.
2) Tap 'F8' on the keyboard immediately and every one second until the Dell logo screen disappears. From there you will see the Windows Advanced Options Menu on the screen. (If the Windows Advanced Options Menu does not appear, restart the system and try again.)
3) Select Safe mode with Networking and press Enter.
4) Log on as the administrator or as a user with administrative access.
5) Open applications and test the computer in safe mode. If the symptoms exist in safe mode, please continue the troubleshooting steps in this article. If the symptoms do not exist in safe mode, the issue is likely related to a driver or software and you may wish to complete steps 6 and 7 to see if you are able to resolve the lock ups or freezing.

Great touchscreen SSD
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The 13.3" is only okay because I keep it closed as I use my 27" monitor at home. Honestly, when I tried to use it before I got my monitor, it was waaaay to small. I would say to get at least a 15" screen-- I got this laptop for $599 on sale, but a few weeks later, the 15" one (with same specs otherwise) went on sale for the same price. So I would def try to look for a deal here on Best Buy. Other than that, I've had no issues with this laptop. Boots up real quick with the SSD... sometimes there's a fan sound even when I'm browsing the internet, but these incidences are very few. Screen quality is good... touch is responsive. I can even put it on tent mode on the dining room table when watching Netflix while I'm having lunch or something. If you need more portability, you can also use it like a tablet. This laptop would be great for a college student needing to lug a computer around everywhere. Though, if you don't need the touch screen, you might as well get a more traditional one which would weigh less. SSD is 100% worth the extra cost though. I would suggest getting at least 256 GB. Though-- harddrive memory is cheap these days. You can always supplement with a portable HDD drive!
