Great 2 in 1
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This 2 in 1 is perfect for the high school graduate heading to college in the fall. Enough memory for the Office Suite, hard drive space to store pictures, and fast enough for just about anything. The SSD is fast and quiet. So far, so good.

This is a great laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am mostly a MAC user but I needed a portable windows machine to do some Access Database development. I thought about using a VM, but with the price of this machine being so reasonable, I felt it would be best to go with an actual Windows machine. I have been very pleasantly surprised by how far Windows has come since I last used it (Windows Vista). The overall performance of the is machine is outstanding. The SSD is very quick, the machine boots up in less than 20 seconds. I have access to all of my iCloud data so there are no issues with interoperability. The case is metal, no plastic so it feels very solid. The screen resolution while not up to Retina standards, is very good. I really can't find fault with this laptop. I have been using it for a month and I haven't had any issues. It is a solid value for the $ paid.

Just what I hoped it would be
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this 2 in 1 Dell hoping it would run soother and quicker than our previous laptop and netbook - and so far it's been great (this has an Intel i5 while our others had i3's for the chip - and this has the 256K solid state drive).

Excellent Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent product by Dell. Awesome product. Lighter compared to other models in the same price range, great graphics and overall a decent laptop for the price. It's a great value in the solid state drive category of laptops.

Love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.User friendly, fast, reminds me of my old COMPAQ Presario (years ago) only faster. I don't usually like the learning curve associated with ANYTHING....I like familiar. This meets ALL of my expectations, including the price.

Great for what I needed.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a small, light weight laptop for work. The Dell Inspiron filled the bill nicely for my price range. It has been a force multiplier for me. Making it easy to study but also having information on hand when I need it on-the-job.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best computer I’ve owned as far as speed and durability for the average person, I’m not a gamer, touchscreen and ability to turn into a tablet is great, has lots of memory for what I need and I just love it.

Love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love that it has an SSD and the computer is fast enough for all my needs. The camera for windows Hello is sometimes slow to start up. I just wish it had a USB port for charging while the computer is turned off.

Good laptop!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good laptop for college student! touch screen is very responsive. However, it is a bit hard to see outside as it is pretty reflective. Weight is fairly light which is a plus if you have to walk around campus. Love this.

Happy with laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I researched many laptops before making this purchase. I wanted to get the most bang for my buck, without spending a fortune I finally settled on this unit after talking with the sales guy. It took some adjusting as I wasn't familiar with Windows 10. I have figured it out for the most part now. I use the laptop daily to surf the web, check FB, email, etc. Occasionally we type a document. I like the feel of the keyboard and the lights on the keys as well. At first I missed having the side number keypad, but I wanted a mid-sized laptop. I'm so glad I chose this size. The number keypad is not an issue at all. I have not used the touch screen aspect of it yet, but like that the capability is there if needed.

Nice laptop, not a great tablet.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop a few weeks ago, mainly for browsing the web so, keep in mind, your results may vary if you're planning on using it for gaming, video editing, etc. The good stuff: -It's fast. I'm not sure how fast it is compared to a higher end laptop but, the speed is nothing to complain about. -It is EXTREMELY quiet. I can't hear the fan at all. -The display is great. Again, I'm not sure how well it does with heavy-duty graphics so, take that with a grain of salt. -The webcam is okay. Not spectacular. But, as far as webcams go, it does it's job pretty well, I guess. -Windows 10. Some people love it. Some people hate it. Most of the issues I've had with the laptop are purely just Windows 10 issues and not the computer itself. -The touch screen and touchpad work well. The only problem I had with the touchpad was it constantly zooming in when using Google Chrome. Fortunately, it was an easy fix, all I had to do was turn off the "two finger pinch to zoom" setting. -The backlit keys are nice and bright. The bad stuff: -No CD/DVD drive because of the size of the laptop. I don't mind this personally but, some people might want one. -I never use the tablet mode because it's just too wide and awkward to hold and use comfortably. I have small hands so, maybe it's just a personal problem. I don't know. I just feel like I'm going to drop it. -It comes with a whole bunch of apps I have no intention of using. The first thing I did was uninstall all of the Microsoft Office stuff because it's only a free trial and I use Google Docs anyway. I can't remember all of the apps I uninstalled but, I know it came with Netflix, Twitter, Groove music, News, and Sports. -The battery life isn't the best. All in all, it's a decent laptop for a good price.
