Picked up this PC as an open box item for $550 and I am very happy with my purchase. Really good performance and feature set and latest Core i5 processor.

Great value for price. Purchased for light use as secondary machine to surf internet and basic Office documents and spreadsheets. Very light and easy to use.

Just what I needed for on-the-go document editing. I use my wi-fi at home and print wirelessly. With the SSD it boots up and runs FAST. Great price, too.

I've been a big fan of Dell laptops ever since I bought a budget model from Best Buy many years ago that is still up and running like a champ. My wife took that one over, but being a 17" model, it became rather cumbersome for her. She wanted something smaller, faster, and lighter, and this one filled the bill perfectly. The 3.53 pound weight is not as light as some other brands in this screen size range, but it is not outrageous either, and I feel it provides a "just right" substantial and solid heft. The I5 processor and 8 GB of memory is more than enough for surfing the Internet or streaming videos, and when coupled with the 256 GB SSD, this becomes a very capable machine. The all-aluminum case is clean and simple in appearance and the lighted keyboard has a soft but solid feel. Videos look crisp and sharp thanks to the full 1080p display. The audio is merely okay (my only real knock) with speakers that are easily muffled because they are on the bottom. At $599.99, this is a heck of a laptop. In fact, I'm just going to call it a "no-brainer". Unless you plan on doing some hard-core gaming, this is probably more laptop than you need, but not more than you want.

From the limited time I have used this computer I can easily preform the necassary tasks needed for college while still having enough juice for light gameplay.

I am still getting used to the touch screen, but if that is the only issue I will have I'll take it. This Dell is so Uchiha faster then my old laptop.

Recommended by a computer savvy friend. Light enough to be carried easily through airports and powerful enough to write on. Very happy with the computer.

For being a first-time owner of a laptop this is a smooth transition. Lightweight and fast. Like the option of use of keyboard and touchscreen

We have been overall happy with this computer. The motherboard did go out, but it was still under warranty so they fixed it. We just use it for internet and stuff, not for school or work so we were alright without it for a couple of weeks.

Love the size of this thing, no hesitation to just pick it up and use it as a pad or laptop. Excellent screen and the thing just screems!

The quality of a Dell for a great price. Solid state HD and touch screen are a bonus for this price range. And it converts to tablet, too.

My new Dell laptop is easy to use, and a good size for transporting with me. It has many nice features, and I am enjoying using it.

The size is great and its thin and light. This is my first lap top in 7 years and I love it. The man helping me at Best Buy was very helpful.

I needed a laptop for my son for college and this was to good of a deal to pass up. Nice touchscreen, ssd hard drive, i5 and aluminum to case.

Wasn't sure about a solid state hard drive - but after using this one - I would not go back. Super fast. Like how the keyboard types.

When I bought this laptop it seemed great. I liked the idea of being able to covert it into tablet form. The touch screen feature is amazing and I use it a lot. However, the tablet mode function is awful. I used it a handful of times and hated it. It ended up creating a minor crack on the side that now is a big problem. I have to adjust my screen a certain way just to be able to complete my school work. I did have the protection plan when I first bought it but never got to renew it because I was out of the country for almost a year working. I was willing to take it to best buy and pay full price to get it fixed but I was told I can't do that. I was told I have to ship it but that's impossible because I'm a full time student and I work from home. I just don't ever recommend buying the 2-in-1 laptops because it's not worth the hassle. I have been looking at other laptops but I don't think I will consider purchasing another Dell laptop because of this experience.
