Typing on the computer is excellent with also with a lot of variety in the IO ports. It also includes a thunderbolt 3 port so if you have a docking port with a display port connector via thunderbolt port, you can use it to display and charge your computer at the same time. Only cons is the trackpad could be better and the computer seems to be a little heavy for it's size.

But, the battery life only lasted about four hours and was not something that would work for me generally speaking. If battery life is not a major concern, then this is one of the greatest laptop's for the value.

Thanks for your review. Here are some tips to help extend the life of your computer's battery:
Change the Power Plan:
1. On the notification area of the taskbar, right-click the Battery icon.
2. On the options list, click Power Options.
3. Select a power plan on the battery meter, such as Power Saver or Balanced. Windows 10 has a built in 'Battery Saver' mode that can be activated to extend your system's battery life. The Battery Saver mode will monitor and limit background activity and other features such as push notifications. You do have the option to enable or disable this mode within settings or within advanced Battery Saver settings, you can customize the mode to best suit your needs.
a) Click on the Action Center icon in the taskbar and select the tile for Battery Saver.
b) If running Cortana then type Battery Saver into the search box and select from the results.
Within the Battery Saver settings page, you will be able to turn on and off the feature and customize the feature to best meet your needs.
c) Turn Battery Saver On or Off.
d) Additional settings available via the Battery use and Battery saver settings links.
e) Battery use shows further info on apps and their power usage.
f) Battery Saver Settings screen allows you to customize further Battery Saver feature.

I was looking for something a little smaller and light weight for school. This laptop has worked great so far. Because of the SSD it works much faster than my HP. And because of its small size, I actually use at as a tablet sometimes. This comes in really handy for reading textbooks and other material. The HP is a little bulky and heavy too use in tablet mode. I would highly recommend this laptop.

That is magnified by the fact that it has a touchscreen function as well. I like it good resolution the weight and the size are perfect. Speakers could be better. I don't use the speakers that much but there seems to be a little twang. I'm going to have to work harder to get used to it. Nice computer. It was a great value.

It is very responsive and nice display. I am not as impressed with the touch screen as with the smaller screen, I sometimes have trouble hitting what I want. I will be looking into buying an Active Stylus Pen to use with it. The battery seems to last and recharges quickly. It is the perfect size for travelling and I have confidence in Dell products.
