I first saw it during one sale but didn't act fast enough. When it went on sale again, I snapped it up for $50 less and patted myself on the back for waiting. Then a month later, it was on sale again for yet another $50 less. If this keeps up, in 12 months it should be free.

It's loaded with Windows 10, and I'm already familiar with the system, so have had NO problems adjusting to the new computer. And the new laptop has a good battery life. I can work all day without having to plug in and recharge. PERFECT.

The unit is a GeekSquad reconditioned laptop & I've been able to trust the Squad to deliver top notch products, and services for over 20 years.

Apple..... Anyways, your can do almost everything from everyday deeds like emails to power hungry deeds like Adobe! I DO NOT recommend this computer for gaming because it does not have a dedicated GPU. Basically, it wasn't made for it.

The manufacture warranty is only for 1 year. This computer was only used by me for my school work. I think I spen around $900 on it. Needless to say I went back to my MAC. I’m really bummed because my husband always had a Dell for work and Jen never had issues with them. I thought I was gonna save some money and get great quality but I was wrong. You get what you pay for.

So far all of the needed functions are met and enjoying the Dell. My only concern is that it seems to run warm most of the time (not hot) but not significant at this time. Looking forward to many years of service!

It skips spaces and I tried to return it but I was 16 days (days 14 ) It has sticky keys.y Not happy, and more for a student than a professional. Disappointed in Best Buy

We're very sorry to hear about the system issues that you've been having. We'd recommend the following tips to help keep your computer performing at a lower temperature:
Tips for Proper Usage:
1. Dell does not recommend placing portable systems directly on your lap. Due to reductions in the thickness of modern portable systems, heat transfer can be an issue.
2. Using a portable system (Laptop) on a hard, flat, non-cloth surface will increase airflow and reduce heat from underneath and inside the system.
Using the portable system on a blanket, pillow, or other types of cloth will cover up the fan cause the computer to overheat and can cause permanent damage.
3. It is recommended to use the portable system in a Room temperature of 0°C to 35°C (32°F to 95°F) with a Humidity level no greater than 90%.
4. Use compressed air to clean the vents on a regular basis.
5. Using a cooling pad can decrease heat and increase performance.
6. If you want to know the temperature limitations for your system, go to the Dell Support Website, look up your system model then open the user guide under the manuals link.

Also has Sims4 installed in it. So far so good. Its frozen a couple of times but it was always while using sims. My guess would be that games a bit much for this laptop. Maybe an upgrade to it in the future to keep its longevity.
