After looking into it it seems this is fairly common for the inspiration line. I contacted Dell to see if it could be an easy(ish) fix but they said I should just return it. Doesn't really inspire confidence. Now I will return it and look at getting a different band I suppose. Pretty big hassle.

I returned it and got another just for that one to run really hot so was pretty disappointing, Dell needs better QC
