Good pice of hardware and vivid colored screens

I had to go through a steep learning curve to install the new software. I was unable to migrate my old Contacts or email folders to the new PC. Their was no migration path for POP3 services. Contacts did not line up in the proper Outlook 2016 format. The power button needs to be moved from the right front of the PC towards the rear. I have a tendency to hit the button.

A great computer!

My last computer weighed twice as much so I really am enjoying the reduced weight. I thought it would be difficult to go from a 15" screen to a 13", but it has not been an issue at all. The decrease in size and weight are well worth it. The I7 processor is incredibly fast and is a workhorse for my multitasking work demands. The solid state drive is a great upgrade also, with very quick start up and shutdown times, plus quiet performance.

Good machine

My old Dell laptop would not allow me to upgrade to Win 10. Said it was a BIOS incompatibility. I take full image backups and if I restored to the new Dell system it would wipe out Win10. I would then have to pay for a new Win 10 to upgrade. My major problem is that I got two conflicting opinions from the Geek squad. This is frustrating.

Great portable laptop, limited touch screen use

Pros: solid state drive starts quickly and 12 MB of RAM works well with multiple Adobe Creative Suite programs. Cons: when connected to external monitor, it doesn’t wake up from sleep mode without unplugging the HDMI monitor cord (screen is just black) and doesn’t work with the new pressure sensitive stylus pens like the ones used with Surface Pros or iPad Pros.
