We purchased the same model at Costco and returned it there due to WiFi connectivity issue. So we thought Costco had a bad "batch". We purchased from Best Buy as they indicated should not be a problem. Well it was the same issue. However, Best Buy was willing to fix under warranty. However, we did not want to deal with that and so it was returned.

I have had the PC for a month now. Took it along on a three-week vacation to France. The size and weight made it easy to travel with. The screen was large enough for us to watch TV and the resolution was great. The battery life met all of our needs.

Bought this about 5days ago or so. When I bought didn't realize I couldn't upgrade the ram because I thought 8gb would be good enough to handle all the programs I run at once. Well it's not , then I tried to find out if I could upgrade to 16b but found out you couldn't. Thinking about returning it .

Do not return for wifi issues [solved]

Do NOT return this laptop because of wifi issues because there is a quick and easy fix! Some people are reporting wifi issues but do not let that sway you from a purchase of this awesome computer. Out of the box I also had wifi issues but it's a fairly simple fix if you know anything about computers. Go to control panel> Hardware and Sound> Device Manager (under devices and printers)> Network Adapters> Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC3165> Driver> Update Driver> Browse my computer for driver software> Let me pick from a list of drivers on my computer> Select the oldest driver version by date (2/22/2015 for me)> Install the driver and boom you have an internet connection. After you've done this you then need to go to the Dell Help & Support application in your start menu and download the newest network drivers from Dec 2015 and install. Then go back to your start menu again and select "settings"> Update & Security> check for updates> download and install windows updates. Hope this helps!

Trackpad is not sensitive, pc lags even when I first bought it. I just regret buying this over the lenovo yoga 900 due to price point. You get what you pay for I guess.

I have had this thing about a month, the new version of Windows is much harder to navigate than previous versions and leads to a lot of frustration when one is trying to trouble shoot issues. The unit tried to update itself and now it will not connect to the internet or even detect my wireless network. This is one of my worst purchases, I will never buy a dell again, best buy hasn't been any help either, all & all a very bad experience.

I got some issue with wireless after use it for a while, I do not have this issue at home, start to have issue when I travel, find out that need to update driver from dell.com (Update/repair driver) to resolve the issue otherwise, it will keep drop connection both wired and wireless Thank you for previous reviewer JohnnyMacD I bought USB Ethernet network adapter also lucky me, without it I will not have laptop connect to the internet to resolve the issue, Other than that, it is a good laptop weight is light, batter is good, you can turn it to be the tablet mode with 360 degree

I bought this under my wife's account which we both use. It is an amazing laptop convertible. Yep it has no VGA output. It has no optical player/reader. But have you checked the others? It is thin. Relatively lightweight. Conserves power. But more important it has a 6th generation i7 processor and 8 gigs of RAM. Others use a core i5 often lesser generation processors. The touch screen is awesome. Built in mic works really well for Cortana even when I close the lid and use an external monitor. I have loaded my earlier software that ran on Windows 7. No problem whatsoever. That includes video and photo editing software and Office 2013...which I really like so why upgrade? I did load new Win 10 drivers for my peripherals...a normal thing to do. Now as a tablet it is big. But I like the option to fold the screen, especially when I am doing presentations or teaching. For an alternate Windows capability, I would only consider the Surface Pro, but it costs more. Also Dell as a brand offers better design and construction quality. I did buy an HDMI to VGA adapter for projector use. Also I bought an optical reader/writer. If you do this I suggest the Dell USB DVDRW drive (it reads CDs too).
