Great little laptop.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this laptop. I downsized from a 17 inch. This one is so much easier to carry along with me. The touchscreen works great. The laptop works well for all of my work and personal needs.

Just one issue
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sometimes I get an error in fingerprint device probably because of Win11. It works properly without vexing fan problems. I open Word, Adobe Reader, VS Code, many of Chrome tabs and some other visual editors at the same time and I don’t have any issue so far. I love my new laptop.

Don’t buy Apple Air M2, buy this instead!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Incredible laptop. My last 3 purchases were HP but then decided it was time for a change. I was absolutely blown away with this Dell product. $200 less than an Apple laptop with far more superior specs. This was an amazing purchase. Highly recommend.

Lightweight & Powerful with Touchscreen
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I found it very easy to use and the ability to fold it 360 is really helpful to use as a tablet for Netflix. I have been using this device for work and off-work work great, plus the backlit keyboard is a welcome addition to this one.

Opinion
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to use and fast response to keyboard strokes. Unfortunately, I neglected to notice I didn't purchase a computer with a numeric keyboard but I will manage using the numeric keys on the top of the keyboard.

A little bit more.....Space
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only thing you may want to get to make this better is more hard drive space. The 512 is to small but everything else runs great!

Solid Machine
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a fast laptop, which I really liked. It was also very sturdy. It wasn't my favorite style-wise, so I decided to return it for the HP Spectre. But I can be picky. This would be a great laptop for pretty much anyone.

Really nice laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is a well made computer that is not only fast but durable. Dell's customer service is top notch. Screen is crystal clear and the sound is the best I've ever heard on a PC.I was hesitant to spend what I thought was an excessive amount, but now I see that you, indeed, get what you pay for. Over the years I've owned laptops from all the major manufacturers. This is one of the most impressive. Even something like being able to upgrade many internal components down the road, just adds to its desirability and value. Glad I took the chance...

Great but noisy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I almost gave this four stars due to the loud fan noise but everything else works well. Good value and my second Dell. I'm hoping that it's as reliable and sturdy as my previous one.

Average Laptop with No Surprises
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this laptop as my travel system for a while and it is exactly what it is meant to be - no surprises. Setup is pretty straight forward (standard Dell setup, ask a few questions, check off a few Windows checkboxes and viola you are good to go). I really wish Dell would stop putting "free" MS Office 30-Day Trial; McAfee LiveSafe 30-Day Trial; Amazon; and Alexa offers on their computers but I doubt I will live to see that day. The machine is designed to be a budget mid-level Windows laptop. Externally there are 2 USB-Cs and a HDMI port on left side and a USB-A on the right. One minor caution, I prefer to use a Logi mouse on this laptop so the Bolt connector claimed the USB-A port, forcing me to buy an external dock to supplement the USB-A for my external drive! In addition, although the battery life was good, eventually one USB-C port will be lost to the charger. However, I have not noticed many USB-C accessories for Window computers at the moment. Also WHY would Dell include a 1080p forward camera that is NOT Windows Hello (facial recognition) compatible - that is just lame on Dell's part! You would assume facial recognition not fingerprint reader is the norm today! The good news is that working on MS Office 365, Adobe Acrobat DC, etc is good. The laptop kept up with my daily workload and rarely did I get the fan noise indiocating it was being stressed out (in fact most of the time it had been Windows update that gets the fan going). I saw very little lag on my daily workload and the whole thing works very well including on the internet. I did some remote office work on the NorthEast Train and it held its own, which at the end of the day is what I was expecting from it! As a word of advice, the laptop uses Intel iRis IG so don't try to play graphics intensive games on this laptop, you will just frustrate yourself for no reason - it is simply not that kind of laptop. I would recommend this for anyone who is looking for a sub $800 laptop (I noticed B.Buy keep listing it as more than $1,000) and you have get a Windows rather than a MacBook Air. This laptop is definitely not your daily work laptop, but something to use when you have travel away from your regular desktop. Solid 3 star budget machine.
