    Everything worked great, at first. The camera quit in the middle of a zoomed meeting. Contacted the tech, she did everything possible, from her end. Scheduled me for an appointment with in store tech. This store is 200 miles away, it is the closest one. Our roads are terrible this time of year. Have to wait.

      Thank you for your feedback and input of your Inspiron 2-in-1 laptop. We apologize for the issues you have come across when trying to use your webcam. We would love to help right away. To reinstall the webcam drivers, perform the following steps.

      1. Close any applications that are using the webcam (this may include web pages). Save and close any applications that you are working on as the computer will need to restart.
      2. Press and hold the Windows key, and then press the q key.
      3. In the search box type device manager.
      4. Select Device Manager (Control panel) in the list of results.
      5. Touch or click the plus (+) sign to the left of Cameras or Imaging Devices.
      - Note: When there is no listing for Cameras or Imaging Devices, "Contact Technical Support."
      6. Touch and hold or right-click Integrated Webcam or USB camera.
      7. Touch or click Uninstall.
      8. Confirm the uninstall process by clicking OK.
      9. Once uninstalled, restart the computer.
      - Note: Windows 10 will automatically detect and install the Webcam drivers.
      10. When the Webcam does still does not function, the webcam software should also be uninstalled and reinstalled after the drivers are installed. Contact the Webcam software provider for assistance.

    This computer is achingly slow compared to my prior (8 GB Asus). I also wish someone had told me how poor the performance is for an 8 GB Dell (or how outdated 8 GB is). I got this because of a best buy recommendation. I cannot afford to spend more to upgrade this laptop; I wish I'd gotten a mac. Please let me know if I can swap this out for a mac. I just got this computer 2 weeks ago, and now it's too late to return, and I spent $800 and can't have two tabs open at once, despite having very little loaded on my computer so far. I'm a small business owner, and I'm losing time and money due to the slow speed of this laptop.

    This was a refurbished item. The charger was incorrect but was replaced. The sound would not work and after setting my password the laptop would not let me on. The service dept. allowed me to return the computer with a full refund.

    Critical design flaw with the hinge.

    This would be a great laptop, but unfortunately contains a critical design flaw which Dell refuses to acknowledge; just search the word "hinge" in reviews, or Google hinge issues with the Inspiron 7425 and/or 7415. After a few short months the hinge became disconnected inside the housing & I'd hear a popping noise when opening / shutting the laptop. The bottom plate now pops out in the rear-right corner when opening the screen. You can even search this model on eBay & are guaranteed to find a few auctions revealing hinge-damage (in the exact same spot). Dell is refusing to repair despite falling under warranty; they're claiming I've done this myself somehow (despite the laptop looking completely new otherwise). I've owned Dell machines since 1999, but this is my last.

    I enjoy my Dell Inspiron for the simple fact that it's a 2- in- 1. I like the fact that it accommodates my different needs whether I'm doing personal home stuff, checking emails or watching a video. Windows 11 came with the laptop so I'm still learning this OS. All in all I have to say I like it very much and the price was great too.
